Still I Rise

• A student choreographed piece based on the poem by Maya Angelou. The piece displays three stories about battered women and the internal turmoil they experience.

• I used negative space as my primary tool which allowed the light I used to break the darkness and accent the movement and convey the emotions of the piece.
