PETITE FAWN (4) was best to begin. ROSEY’S LASS (5) lost momentum checking off the heels of CLOVER BRIGID (2) after the start. BANJO BEAU (7) galloped on the back of KINGSBRAE LADY (8) in the back straight. ROSEY’S LASS (5) shifted in on CLOVER BRIGID (2) approaching the top turn resulting in CLOVER BRIGID (2) losing considerable ground. CLOVER BRIGID (2) was examined by the GRNSW Veterinary Surgeon and no apparent injury was found.

At the same time DAB LIVY DAB (10) stumbled off the heels of KINGSBRAE CHOOKY (1) shifting ground hampering FINAL VERDICT (5) and BIG TURLS (6). MONBO BEACH (7) and CHARMING CHAOS (8) came off the back of BIG TURLS (6) who checked wide after this incident all greyhounds losing significant ground. BIG PRINCE (4) took the lead in the back straight.
