Steps to join online Viva-Voce

Step 1. Open the meeting invitation notification e-mail.

Step 2 Once you click the “Join WebEx meeting” link a new window will be displayed in your web

browser.

Step 3. Enter your Name, email address and click "Join"

Once you click on “join” a new window similar to below will be displayed.

Step 4. The WebEx client aplication will automatically be installed at your system and you will be placed into the WebEx meeting. Cisco Webex Meeting Center will open as below. Now you have entered in the Viva-Voce session.

The above screen shows that the host has not yet joins. Please wait for Host to join.

Note-> If the webex client is not automatically getting install then please follow the following

steps to download & install manually:-

1. Click the URL:-

https://wilp-bits-pilani.webex.com

2. Click on "Meeting Center" Tab

3. Click on “Support” ( as displayed in the left panel of your screen)

4. Click on “Downloads” in the sub-menu open of the previous step.

5. Download & install the “Meeting Center Application” as per your operating system/Browser

Once the installation done then please click on the “Join WebEx meeting” link which is sent in invitation

email i.e please go to step-1 as shown in page 1 of the document.

Note:- If you are a first time WebEx user, please join the meeting session 30 minutes

prior to start time to allow for WebEx to setup your user interface.

Hardware & Software requirements

1. Headphone & Speaker/Headset and Webcam (Absolutely Mandatory)

2. Good Internet Bandwidth (Absolutely Mandatory)

3. Windows 2000, XP 32-bit (SP3), Windows 2003, Windows Vista 32-bit/64-bit, Windows 7 32-bit/64-bit

/ Mac OS X 10.5, 10.6, Windows 8 32-bit/64-bit

4. Internet Explorer/Firefox/Chrome and JavaScript, Cookies need to be enabled

5. Recommend ActiveX be enabled for Internet Explorer, Requires Sun Java Runtime Environment (JRE)

5.0 or higher
