STEPS OF BSC INTRIGATION IN OSS

1. Define BSC in the router .LoginPasswordRtj1>enPasswordRtj1# config t channel-group 5 timeslots 6 interface Serial1/0:5 Description of LINK towards ................ no ip address encapsulation x25 dce x25 address < c Number of OSS > x25 htc 16 x25 map clns <C number of NE> broadcast clns router isis dcn. Ctrl Z Wr mem Configure the host.x25 route ^<c number of NE>$ interface Serial1/0:5x25 host BVRN1 < c number of NE >

2. Give above channel group no(n) i.e time slot (n+1) to MSC person3. Now difine new BSC in TLI

4.Go in the N/W editor and open Default view.

4. Select PLMN and ADD New Child.

B. select add new child-------Bsc

C. Fill the new BSC C no ,Name and version S11. this will give the Internal Id.

Now your Top level work is complete.NOW EDIT CONFIGURATION FILESa.cnxdcnmx.cfb.ouorapmx.cf

5. Now log in the any server and with omc userand type m/home/omc% cd $OMCPOLICE

this path will give u the PATH of CNXDCNMX.CF file.

6. open this file in the text editor

7. select the given path for cnxdcnmx.cf

8. now edit cnxdcnmx.cf file by only change of bsc name or C-number.Before do the edition first save the original copy for backup.

9.Now open ouorapmx.cf file.

10. Edit only C number in the ouorapmx.cf file Before do the edition first save the original copy for backup.

11. Change the authority of cnxdcnmx.cf and ouorapx.cf to 2674.# chmod 2674 cnxdcnmx.cf for both file12. now type cnxreconfigmx.perl in any server if u are login properly in the particular BSC this sure that X25 is done properly. Some command for checking X25 creation. 13. check the x25 creation on the BSC side by checking some router commands as:

(a) login in the router and fire # sh clns es-neighboursthis shows that the bsc person is properly create x25 or not by seeing our new bsc C no in the router

(b) loging in the any server and fire ouimanmx to check hostif u find our bsc in the host then open particular bsc with help of command op<BSC C noVT> and log in the new bsc by NUPADM user..

tell to BSC person first that he create NUPADM user in the BSC. Before above procedure.

14. After checking all the creation in the BSC side log in the TLI in the service user management.

15. Select service type – Default access thenSelect New created Bsc, MR and sysop1 user.

16.Now go to the file select upload network – visible process --- clear – update.17. now check BSc by loging from MML and take alarm upload and MO upload.

18. after making BSC in the Operational mode type this commond scs:/m/home/omc (107) omc% q3versmx.sh -bscintid 1508 -bscvers S13 –trace.
