Hello! I’m Josephine Farrales BunyiYou can call me Jean or jean_the_grey.

I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, stylist and watercolorist from Manila. And this is the portfolio of some of my best works of art.

I am an artist of fun, wild and unexpected surreal things. For me, good design is a byproduct of joy, inspiration, love, significanceand a little bit of magic. I take inspiration from various things around me,fueling me to create designs that aim not just to impress the marketbut to express the message in the best way it should be conveyed.

Most of my works here are from my 5 years as Graphic Designerfor Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in the Philippines that involveconceptualizing, styling and photography to branding and designing.

On the rightside, you will see the current branding of myself. It is a combination of a butterfly’s wings and a mermaid’s fin.Two very significant symbols I chose to portray my character, my style,my mission and my dreams. It evokes a strong sense of freedom for my skillsto effectively adapt in all forms of design. It’s also a sneaky way to form my intials “JB” in cursive format. ^_~
