The world leader in Endodontics...Our piezo ultrasonic devices are used daily in more than 100 countries!
First for innovation and for choice!
After SATELEC developed the first Piezo Ultrasonic for dentistry in 1972... they didn't stop there with regards to
innovation. SATELEC continued to develop what has become common place in today's Dental Offices.
SATELEC was first with:
- Piezo Ultrasonics for Dentistry
- Ultrasonic tips which have an internal cooling spray
- Color-Coded System (Tips - Wrench - Unit Power Setting)
- Diamond Coated Tips
- Carbon Composite Tips (Implants)
- Cruise Control (NEWTRON Technology)
- Autoclavable LED's in the Hand Piece
SATELEC offers the widest range of ultrasonic devices and the most extensive and innovative range of tips on the
market. With a single handpiece, you have over 80+ tips available for a wide range of dental applications.
SATELEC designs, manufactures and distributes dental and medical devices. In association with national research
agencies and universities, its integrated R&D department develops curing lights, micro-motors and high-frequency
piezo ultrasonic surgical units.
The ACTEON SATELEC product range is continuously being enhanced to reflect the latest innovations and technologi-
cal breakthroughs. P5 NEWTRON XS LED , Air-N-Go and PIEZOTOME SOLO LED are just a few examples of the
successful new devices recently launched. We are the world leader in piezoelectric ultrasonic generators for dental
use as well as the field of oral pre-implant surgery. Because of SATELEC’s new products, patients are now able to
experience faster and less painful treatments.
We invite you to see why SATELEC has become the Global Leader in Ultrasonics for Dentistry.

The I-Endo dual is the first unit having an encoder coupled
with an accurate micro-motor
The position detecting encoder ensures high speed accuracy in
rotating mode, and gives even greater benefits in reciprocating
mode providing an exact angle measurement for:
- Evaluating the degree of rotation with tolerance limits
under 1°
- Getting the best performances for each file system
F+RThis RECIPROCATING MOVEMENT is based on the natural, manual file forward and
reverse motion for more:
- SIMPLICITY - A simplified protocol decreasing the number of file sequences
(1 or 2 files needed)
- EFFICIENCY - Diminishes the screwing effect, decreases the global shaping
time and creates a more centered canal
- SAFETY - Progressive evolution in the canal, very light apical pressure needed
to respect the root canal anatomy, reducing file fatigue and the risk of breakage
- Integrated motor calibration system to check the contra-angle
for a perfect micro-motor/instrument adjustment
- Advanced microprocessor for an extremely short response
time
PRECISION AND SPEED
- Compatible with all systems and files from all major suppliers
- Free control of the forward and reverse degrees of rotation from 10° to 360°
in reciprocating mode
- Includes 10 customizable programs in both modes
- Compatible with all e-type contra-angle (ISO 3964) connections

regular motion.
Auto-reverse accuracy:
A beeping tone warns you when 75% of the preset torque is reached.
The advanced microprocessor offers an extremely short time of response when
torque is obtained
3 auto-reverse modes when torque is reached:
- STOP stops without reverse rotation
- STANDARD runs in reverse rotation
- SPECIAL runs reverse until the file is freed and automatically returns to forward

The association of Titanium-Niobium with SATELECultrasonics is ideal for non-surgical, noninvasive Endodontic retreatments, the confident wayThe EndoSuccessTM Retreatment kit contains six ultrasonic instruments to cover all aspects of orthograde endododontics: canal
localization, cavity access preparation, retreatment and loosening of posts or crowns. The “25” series offers three models of Titanium-
Niobium (Ti-Nb) mini-tips in differing lengths and tapers, designed for retreatment in the three root canal sections, and even in
isthmuses. This exclusive SATELEC® alloy gives the instruments excellent resistance to corrosion, allowing them to be used with sodium
hypochlorite (NaO Cl) solution. The ultrasonic vibration is transmitted better and is more controlled. Lastly, the tips can be pre-bent to
treat curved canals.
A seventh instrument is also available as an option for long and straight canals: ET 25 L.

3-6-9mm - A giant step for Apical Surgery
This new concept for micro-apical surgery, called 3-6-9, is exclusive to SATELEC® and follows the current trend towards minimally-invasive
surgical techniques. The kit consists of five instruments all designed to address different anatomical configurations. Together with a new
diamond coating that enhances the instruments’ efficacy, these tips not only allow for more precise and better controlled retro endodontic
treatment, but also conserve more bone and dental tissues. The root canal is preserved, even though the infection is treated
at its origin in the canal system.
These instruments are recommended for use by Endodontists or dental professionals trained in the use of operating microscopes.

Choose the leaderEndoSuccess Retreatment is a kit of ultrasonic tips for a complete non-surgical Endodontic
retreatment protocol. The range features the “25” series of Titanium-Niobium (Ti-Nb)
instruments. This alloy, exclusive to Satelec®, favors the transmission of ultrasound and
despite the fine shape, is particularly resistant to breakage but is flexible enough to access
curved canals.

A giant step for Apical SurgeryThe unique 3-6-9 protocol for micro-apical surgery as well as the new diamond coating of the
active part of the five instruments in the EndoSuccess Apical Surgery kit make the treatment
more precise and better controlled. They also help conserve more bone
and dental tissues. The root is preserved and the infection is treated at its origin in the canal
system. We can now expect to achieve the same success with apical surgery, as with
non-surgical Endodontics.

Passsive ultrasonic irrigation performed with Irrisafe provides a thoroughly and completely disinfected root canal systemAll current publications demonstrate evidence of the efficacy of Passive Ultrasonic Irrigation (PUI), now considered as the best
protocol for the cleaning and disinfection of the root canal. Modern Root Canal therapy protocols integrate the final irrigation
with a disinfectant solution activated by ultrasonics, as a mandatory sequence.
DEEP CLEANINGA non-cutting fluted design and a blunt working-end prevent
any damage to the prepared root canal walls, generate
turbulences that help to detach the biofilm from the root
canal walls and flush away the debris.
ANTIBACTERIAL EFFECTCavitation occurs with hydrodynamic micro-currents, provides
a bacteriostatic effect and eradicates the bacteria.
INTENSIFY THE IRRIGATIONThe irrigant effect is amplified by the mechanical
activation provided by the vibration and by the heating effect
of the ultrasonics which intensifies the sodium hypochlorite
debridement properties.

BRAND X TIPS
SATELEC has always designed tips that respect the tooth’s anatomy and vibrate in perfect harmony with the handpiece.
We don’t deny that a brand X tip can be cheaper to buy than a genuine SATELEC tip but we would remind you that only genuine SATELEC tips have
been designed specifically for use with our generators, and we strongly recommend them. Furthermore, brand X tips can be harder than tooth enamel,
which could cause undesired wear, or even etching, of the tooth’s surface. That’s not all – you risk damaging the screw thread and electronics of your
SATELEC handpiece. Last but certainly not least, even a slight physical or electronic incompatibility
could cause a brand X tip to break … with a risk of ingestion by the patient.
Understandably, SATELEC’s liability - both legal and with regard to warranty of parts and accessories - cannot be engaged for damages that arise from
the use of any other than genuine SATELEC accessories.
