The difference between portfolio websites and standard websites is that portfolio websites are made to showcase a person’s portfolio or business. Whereas, standard websites are made less specific than that and serve a number of different purposes to suit there audience.

The navigation bars on these webpages are different. The portfolio website has a lot less links in the navigation bar to click on, whereas the standard website has 13 as apposed to 4. The portfolio website has less smaller images than the standard website because it is showcasing graphics and doesn’t need to flood the page with images.
