System which is analysed and feedback is given to employees so

that they will be motivated to work more effectively…

Performance appraisals are carried out every six months. An

appraisal interview gives the chance for employees to be rewarded

and told that they are doing a good job. It is a good way of

motivating employees because at their appraisal interview they

could get a pay rise or promotion

Based on the study, several recommendations have been made.

These include

In order to successfully conduct the performance measurement

process,

1. Standard Chartered Bank should formulate effective internal

and external communication mechanism.

performance measurements.

3. Performance evaluation should be positive and not negative.

4. Employees should be given work of their own choice in the

bank.

5. They should appreciate the hard working employees. Further
