Writing - Acrostic Poem Acrostic poems are fun and easy to write. An acrostic is formed when the first letter in each line spells out a word or a sentence when read top to bottom. Try one using the letters of your name on the worksheet.
Writing - Acrostic Poem For this acrostic poem, think of a word or phrase that starts with each of the letters in “Australia”. Write it on the line next to that letter and draw a picture of your favourite things about Australia.

Warm Up - Number of the Day Today’s number is: 15 How many ways can you make this number? Write some addition, subtraction, multiplication or division questions with the answer of 15. Number Students draw number cards (approximately 10 - 20 cards) ranging from 0-20, 10 - 100, or 100 - 999 (choose your own numbers, but not necessarily in order). Place cards in a pile upside down. Turn over 2 cards and state which number is smallest and which number is largest. Repeat the process until all cards have been used.
