………………………………………………………………….. THE 2017 DSA ASSESSMENT for IHM As of April 3rd, 33 families have pledged, however we still have an outstanding balance. Remember that pledges must be paid to avoid a short-fall for the Parish. …………………………………………………………………. I CANNOT FIND WORDS that truly express my love and gratitude to our faith family at IHM. The out pouring of love and support was overwhelming. I read each card and relayed each phone call to Odette and they cheered her up: she knew she was loved. The visits were so thoughtful and even though they were tiring for her she appreciated each and every one. On behalf of my family and Odette's 2 children, the attendance at the mass to celebrate her life was so greatly appreciated. Thanks to all those who made the meal and decorated the commons. Howard Platz ………………………………………………………………….. DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY: We invite all of you to join us immediately after the 4:00PM Saturday Mass on April 22nd and immediately following the 9:00AM Sunday Mass on April 23rd to Celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday with a recitation to-gether of the Chaplet -- a day chosen by Christ as one of extraordinary graces and a complete outpouring of His Mer-cy. Please join us in the powerful prayer of Mercy. ………………………………………………………………….. EDUCATION will meet Friday at 10:30 AM. ………………………………………………………………….. THE MEN’S CLUB will meet Thursday at 9:30AM. ………………………………………………………………….. SAINT VINCENT de PAUL SOCIETY: during the months of February and March your generosity and donations to SVdP brought comfort and peace to families in Clay County who are poor and suffering. In February we were able to help 10 fami-lies (18 people). In March we were able to help 9 families (22 people). Know that you are a sign of God’s love to those who are suffering. THANK YOU.

More General Announcements …………………………………………………………………. DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY: next Sunday the entire Church is called to gather throughout the world to celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday. From St. Maria Faustina’s Diary it is clear that this Octave Day of Easter is a day chosen by Christ as a day of extraordinary graces and a complete outpouring of His mercy upon all who approach Him with great trust and expectant faith. Prepare for Divine Mercy Sunday by encouraging others to trust in Jesus. The Divine Mercy Chaplet and Novena Pray-er for that day should be recited at 3PM or as close to that time as possible for 9 consecutive days which began on Good Fri-day and ends on Saturday, April 22nd, the eve of Divine Mercy Sunday. These prayers can be said in the privacy of your own home. Please remember that the Divine Mercy Chap-let is prayed after the 5PM Mass each Friday at St. William and all are invited to his Fountain of Mercy.
