Farewell Year 6 I would like to say farewell to our Year 6 children. Their final year at St Peter’s has not been the Year 6 ending I would have wanted for them but I would like to say a huge well done for simply doing their part and
making sacrifices of which one day they will reflect by saying, I did my part during the pandemic. I wish you all the very best in Year 7 and beyond. I would like to mention Mrs Marston who has taken the Year 6 groups since their part time return in June. Without Mrs Marston the Year 6 wouldn’t have had the opportunity to return to school, other than the Year 6 key workers whom Mr Jennings supported. Thank you to the key worker bubble teachers and teaching assistants from March: Mrs Gibbens, Mrs Marston, Mrs Cains, Miss Peckover, Mrs Gilbey, Miss Fisher, Mrs Sayal, Mrs Atkinson, Mrs Cruse, Mrs Verner, Mrs Plumb, Mrs Lewis, Miss Sandford, Miss Hallett and of course the office team (Mrs Hampson, Mrs Monkman, Mrs Gilmour) and Mr Maynard. In fact, I wish to thank all the staff for their efforts throughout lockdown. The work from home team have helped evolve our Home Learning platform and kept communication flowing in our epic weekly Newsletters, thank you. Everyone has contributed both on site and off site during this unprecedented time. You are all super stars!
Message
from
Mr Tomlinson.
At this point I’d like to reflect and take this moment to appreciate all the St Peter's team; every single person who contributes to life at St Peter's. To all the amazing teachers, teaching assistants, kitchen team, site staff, office team, lunchtime staff, governors, School club staff, Pre-School, sports coaches, music providers, PTA, parents, volunteers and enrichment providers who give their utmost across school, I say
a huge thank you to you. I value all of your efforts and I simply want to say how much you are appreciated. Together, I know we will all continue to maintain the highest of expectations moving forwards. All being well, I will see you all together in September. ‘Together in Achievement’
Take Care

St. Peter’s said a sad farewell to Miss Peckover
who is taking EARLY retirement. We wish her all
the best from her friends of St. Peter’s past and
present. Can you spot one of the special visitors
who came? Mrs Plumb provided a beautiful
afternoon tea. Miss Peckover presented
Mrs Gibbens and Mr Tomlinson a parting gift for
the staffroom, new biscuit tin and a supply of
biscuits! Best wishes Miss P!
Miss Peckover has left the building, thank you very much!

This week East Bridgford Brownies had a water fight! We got together to watch our
water fight video. It made us giggle,
especially how many times it took some people to do their
video. Poor Lottie had to do it again as Immy
threw the bucket at her!
Snowy had a water theme background
which the girls guessed correctly from the film,
Finding Nemo.
