Dear Parents,
The end of another term is here and what a wonderful
term of learning, celebrating and achieving it has been.
It is always so rewarding to reflect, appreciate all that
has happened and to celebrate the achievements we have
witnessed over the last 10 weeks.
We are so PROUD of each and every student for the effort
they display towards their learning. At St Patrick’s our
students are individuals on their own learning journey and
we embrace this and endeavour to meet the academic, social and emotional needs of each
child. Our teachers strive to challenge and support students to achieve success. This
term our data reflects that success and so we congratulate all staff, students and parents.
School is a place of academic learning and it is also a place to develop the whole child.
Our school celebrations are a wonderful way to witness the many skills and talents
students have been gifted with.
We see these talents in:
Our school Masses, where students confidently present in front of an audience.
The school concert, which take courage and persistence.
Our sports day, which not only allows the athletic students to shine, also gives an
opportunity for students to display their willingness to have a go, persist and show
leadership.
Class assemblies, which offer students a chance to be confident singers, who bring
joy and pleasure to others.
Our missions fundraising, when we unite together to support others in need.
We take this opportunity to thank our students for their dedication, our parents for the
support they give, Father Nigel and our parish and a very special thankyou to our P&F
for the great work they do.
School will resume on Tuesday 6th October.
On behalf of all our staff, we would like to wish you all a safe and happy holiday!
Tracey,
AP-RE (Acting)

Evacuation and Lockdown Drills.
This week the staff and students have been
practicing our Evacuation and Lockdown drills.
The purpose of these drills is to prepare the staff
and children for emergency situations that may
occur in our school. It is extremely important for the
children and staff to understand the different alarm
sounds, so that when they hear them they know
what to do and are less likely to panic.
The children (and staff) did a fantastic job, especially
with the lockdown, where it is important to keep
very quiet and wait for the all clear.
Fantastic work everyone! We look forward to more
practice next term.
Have a wonderful and safe holiday.
Daneile Holmes
