Peace of Jesus Christ, Joanne Warren

Part 1: Dr. Tim Gray explores the question Jesus asks his disciples: “Who do you say that I am?” He provides a close reading of St. Peter’s confession of faith that Jesus is the “Christ, the Son of the Living God” (Mt

16:16). He accentuates how Peter’s confession undermines the Roman imperial cult.

Part 2: Dr. Tim Gray considers the mystery of God’s self-revelation of his name at the burning bush. He shows that “I Am Who I Am” (Ex 3:14) discloses the God who is with us and trustworthy.
