brings the Eucharist to those who are homebound? We are having a Eucharistic Minister training on Janu-ary 11 at 7:00pm in the Murphy Room.

Basketball Free Throw Contest—The Foxboro

Knights of Columbus will hold its annual Free Throw Contest on Monday January 16 from 6-9 pm at the FOX-BORO YMCA. All boys and girls ages 9-14 are welcome to participate. On site registration will be available. Con-tact Tom Sullivan at [email protected] with questions.

**UPDATE:** St. Mary’s is starting two Bible Study groups! We have room in the Tuesday morning (10am) session for 2 more people. We still have openings in the Wednesday evening (7pm) session. Friends, 2016 is now in the books and I just wanted to take this opportunity to write. It has been a year full of blessings for many. For others, a year of tragedy and difficulties. But as a parish, as a community of believers in Jesus Christ, we have rallied and supported each other. I anticipate 2017 will be full of these same joys and sor-rows but we face them together, confident that our Lord is with us. It has been a great blessing to me to be assigned here. I have enjoyed my time here and I'm constantly im-pressed by the dedication and devotion of the people of Foxborough. This is a genuine community where so many do so much to make this place what it is. As your priest, I pray that God bless all of you and your families. Know that I pray for all of you daily. I ask that you keep me in your prayers as we continue to build up the Kingdom of God here on earth, in Foxborough, our homes and in our hearts.
