Catechists and Aides We are looking for catechists and aides for our Children's Faith Formation Program. We especially need them onWednesdays (English) from 4pm to 5:15pm to teach our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. If you feel the call to share yourfaith, don't worry about not having enough experience, we will train you! Meet St Lucy's newest Director of Faith FormationMonica Echevers!
Meet St Lucy's newest Director of Faith Formation: Monica Echevers!Monica was born and raised in Panama. She attended Catholic school and was involved in her parish community asa child. As a young adult Monica had an encounter with God which led her to learning more about God and theCatholic Church. She has participated in different pastoral groups and served as a Confirmation Catechist andCoordinator back in Panama. She holds a B.A. in Psychology. Before moving to the USA she worked in HR and
Administration. For the last four years she volunteered at Saint Martin Parish inSunnyvale as a member of a Spanish choir, the catechetical program and otherparish projects. She loves to sing and play guitar and embraces Saint Augustine'squote: "To sing is to pray twice".. Monica is married to David and has a two-year oldson named Matteo!

Mónica nació en Panamá y ahí creció.Ella asistió una la escuela católica y participó en su comunidad parroquialcuando era niña. Como una joven adulta, Mónica tuvo unencuentro con Dios que la llevó a aprender más acerca deDios y la Iglesia Católica. Ella ha participado en diferentesgrupos pastorales y se desempeñó como Catequista deConfirmación y Coordinadora en Panamá. Ella tiene unaB.A. en psicología. Antes de mudarse a los Estados Unidos,
trabajó en recursos humanos y administración. Durante los últimos cuatro años fue voluntaria en Saint MartinParish en Sunnyvale como miembro de un coro, el programa de catequesis y otros proyectos parroquiales. Leencanta cantar y tocar la guitarra y le gusta lo que dice San Agustín: "Cantar es rezar dos veces". ¡Monica estácasada con David y tiene un hijo de dos años llamado Matteo!
