Music Ministers Social Gathering!

On Tuesday, June 20th at 7:00 p.m. all Music Minis-ters from the Joliet Diocese are invited to attend a social gathering at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 306 West 4th Street, Hinsdale, in the parish “Fireplace Room”. This is an opportunity for all musicians to meet other Joliet Diocesan musicians, learn more about the Joliet NPM Chapter and discuss future programs that the chapter will offer for the up-coming year. We are looking for people to share their faith with our young people as Catechist. We are especially looking for catechists for our catholic youth on Thursday nights. Our Thursday night program meets every other week 6-8pm to prepare our teenagers for Confirmation and will be a time to grow our youth ministry. On Wednesday nights grades 1-5 meet weekly, with many of those students preparing for First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Other are continuing their faith formation. We can offer you the train-ing, materials and support you need and you just have to provide your love of Jesus Christ and be willing to share it. Buscamos a la gente a compartir su fe con nuestros jóvenes como Catequista. Estamos buscando especialmente a los catequistas para nuestra juventud católica el jueves por la noche. Tuition Transfer Grant Program

Holy Family Catholic School Offers $1,500 off of Tuition to Transfer Students Holy Family Catholic School is pleased to offer a Tuition Transfer Grant to any parishioner who transfers their child into grades 1-7 from any private*, public, charter or home school. This two-year grant, $1,000 in year one and $500 in year two, will be applied to offset the current school tuition.

Seeking HFCS Parents and St. Charles Borromeo and

St. Joseph Parishioners for the HFCS Leadership Council

The school administration is looking for individuals who are dedicated to the future vitality of Holy Family Catholic School to join a new Leadership Council. The main function of the Council will be to review the school’s mission and vision, and develop a strategic plan for the next 5 years. Serving on the Council does not require any specific background or skill set. A full Council requires 5 to 9 members and meetings will convene monthly.

Being part of the Leadership Council can be a personally fulfilling experience. It is a wonderful way to share your gifts and talents while furthering the Church’s mission for its schools.

7th Grade Enjoying Their Day with Blessed Mother

Every Friday afternoon, during the month of May, the 7th grade students enjoyed spending time with Blessed Mother Mary. Weather permitting,

they would gather outside to pray, but if it was too cold or rainy, that still

would not stop their loving devotion to Our Lady. Instead, the students would gather inside of St. Charles Borromeo

Church to say the Rosary in front of the Tabernacle of Our Lord. The students

also enjoyed meditating upon the 4 different mysteries of the Rosary: Joyful, Sorrowful, Luminous, and

Glorious. By praying the Rosary and mediating upon the mysteries, the

students could feel the peace that only Our Lord and Our Lady can give us. Make the Rosary a part of your daily routine and you, too, can take part in

that extraordinary peace.
