St Paul Parish welcomed His Eminence
Cardinal Sean O’Malley in celebrating our Centennial Mass on
December 3, 2016
Thank You !
Many thanks to our wonderful parishioners who gave so generously to the 2016 Giving Tree program!
Contributions included donating, transporting, sorting and delivering the mountain of gifts left under our Giving
Trees. Each volunteer played an important role in making Christmas significantly brighter for hundreds of recipients
in need, and our agency contacts extend their prayerful gratitude for the generosity shown by St. Paul
parishioners. What a beautiful tradition.

AseraCare Hospice is Looking for
Caring Hearts and Hands
Do you have 3-4 hours a month to spare? Would you like to spend time having a fulfilling volunteer
experience while making a difference in someone’s life? We serve patients at the ends of their lives in your
community and they could use your help! Companionship is an important part of hospice
care, as it provides comfort and peace for our patients. We need not only Companion volunteers but also those who are Veterans, to specifically assist our
Veteran patients at the end of their journey on Earth. Additionally, if you have a craft talent, we are in
need of lap blankets, knitted, crocheted or quilted, to share with our patients. If you feel called to share your gifts that God has given you in this manner, please give me a call. I would be happy to explain our volunteer program to you. Thank you so much. Kim Iannacci,
Volunteer Coordinator, AseraCare Hospice.

A PRAYER FOR THE HOLY FAMILY
Heavenly Father, You have given us the model of life in the holy family of Nazareth. Help us to make our family another Nazareth where love, peace and joy reign. Teach us to see Jesus in the members of our families, especially in their distressing disguise. May we love one another as God loves each of us, more and more each day, and forgive each other’s faults as you forgive our sins. Help us take whatever you give and give whatever you take with a big smile. Amen. -Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta
Wellesley Food Pantry Needs Your Help
"None of us can think we are exempt from concerns for the poor and for social jus-tice." (Pope Francis) The Wellesley Food Pantry was very grateful for December’s do-nations and our monthly participation. We are making a difference! Next weekend (1/7 – 1/8) will be the first weekend of January and as usual we will be collecting canned fruit and laundry detergent for the Wellesley Food Pantry. Let us remember to be thank-ful while we celebrate by giving and receiv-ing there are many in our community who are having difficulty just getting along. Your donations may be left in the bins at the front entrance of the church. "The mystery of the poor is this -- that they are Jesus." (Dorothy Day)
