Back to normal at St Helen’s!!! Thanks for your patience during the recent works. Normal service has now been resumed and we hope that you all agree that our ceiling and lighting over the altar is much improved. We are grateful to Tony Johnson for planning and co-ordinating the work. In addition to this he and his wife Lorraine spent hours handwashing all 700 gold leaves, before replacing in them in the crown above the altar
The Rosary will be said in the chapel at Humphreys for Kath Sweeney on Thursday 1st December at 6pm. SVP (St Joseph’s & St Helen’s) will make their monthly
collection next weekend 3/ 4 December. This will be our Christmas collection. A few Christmas cards left at St Joseph’s. When they’re gone, they’re gone!
Funeral Mass for Marie McGrath will take place at St Helen’s on Friday 9th December at 3.00 pm

The Annual Novena at St. John’s Kirkdale , continues on Wednesdays : 30th November Fr. Michael Fitzsimons. The Novena starts at 7.00pm, and is followed by Mass at 7.30pm.

Church in the Middle East’ We are asked to join the Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) and the parish of Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral (L3 5TQ) for an afternoon talk given by Fr Andrzej Halemba, ACN’s Project Co-ordinator for the Middle East, after which there will be a brief service led by Fr Halemba during which we shall pray together for our fellow Christians in Iraq, Syria and neighbouring countries. The talk will take place at 2:00pm on Sunday 27 November.
