Brother Knights,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your support and confidence
during our most recent election and the position you’ve entrusted me with. I’m excited
over our new leadership and know you have an enthusiastic group that is anxious to
begin their new roles and embrace the task at hand.
During this next month your officers will take time to scrutinize the current state of the
council as we decipher our direction and set in place goals that will improve and move
the council forward. You’ll notice as one of our first action items is to once again form a
retention committee that will monitor the wellbeing of the council. Our membership
committee puts much effort into recruiting new members yet without a retention plan
we’ll never retain the good members that we have nor understand the cause for their
dissent. The welfare of the council must be a priority and not something to be taken
lightly.
In the up and coming months you’ll notice a slight shift towards family as we’ll strive to
include family members in the council’s social activities. A good natured Catholic
gentleman is most likely a good husband and a good father and somebody we would
hope to call a “Brother Knight”. So let’s embrace the direction from Supreme and
recognize the need to include families in our social activities.
One family opportunity will be on July 16th when we host the “Knights of Columbus
Picnic in the Park” located at Jim Jeffers Park off Burnt Store Rd. This is our
opportunity to combine family and fun in our Knight activities so be sure to come out
and enjoy the fun.

Dear Brother Knights,
I want to thank you for your support in my election to the position of Deputy Grand
Knight. It has been an honor to have served you in the past positions of Chancellor and
Warden. I am truly excited about this new position. I know you will be pleased with
direction this new TEAM of officers will guide you with. We are in our positions to serve
God, the Church and this parish. I invite you to become an active participant in our
mission. Without your support we will be unable to accomplish our goals of unifying this
council and in serving St. Andrew’s better.
I pray that you accept the gift that Jesus so freely gave you. “Peace I leave with you;
my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts
be troubled or afraid.” John 14:27 (NABRE)

of the times in which we live. Christ’s peace is not a passive quality that shuts our eyes
to the harsh reality, but creates a positive approach to life, based on the belief in the

I love how daily readings are frequently spot on with what is going on with my life. On
June 29th a second opinion confirmed my doctor’s diagnosis and confirmed the actions
that I must take to be healed. Later that day I read this daily devotion and what it says
does in fact bring me peace. I know God loves me and will always be with me.
Jesus loves you and so do I.

300 CLUB The 300 Club is a raffle that pays out 3 $50 prizes each month.
PLUS in October there is a free yearend dinner for all 300 Club
members.
PLUS another $1250 in prizes is awarded at the yearend dinner.
Up to 300 people can play. Each person picks a number 1 to 300.
Winners are picked by number. IF there are over 200 people who join
the 300 Club prize money will be increased by $50 prize each month (4
$50 winners). You can win only once each month but you could win
12 times in the year plus money at the dinner (over $600
total). You can buy more than 1 number.
All profits from the 300 Club go to support the Joe Incardona
Scholarship Fund benefiting Students at St Andrew Parish School
Cost is $40 total including monthly drawings, Dinner in October, and
prize money at the dinner.
To join, mail a check with your name and address on the check by
October 31st payable to K of C 7131 and your requested number and
alternate numbers (you get to keep our numbers from year to year)

and NFC West cities. The possible games, stadium layout, and pricing tiers are
shown below, but we don’t yet have exact details on how our group discount will
