Goals: Develop new collaborative research among SSPPS faculty.

Develop translational collaborations in

drug discovery/development.

Identify strengths of SSPPS faculty for graduate education and pharmacy education in

pharmaceutical sciences and pharmacy.

Increase knowledge of faculty interests and capacities to build cohesive group dynamics

at SSPPS.

Collaborative Research Planning

Foster new collaborative research programs for extramural grant funding, especially between clinical pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences faculty.

Format: - Title- Faculty to be involved in the

collaboration- Abstract of the research topic

with indication of the concept & opportunity,

specific aims, and impact- Grant opportunity(ies) planned

including agency, type application (e.g.

R01, R21 etc) and submission dates- How will pilot funds will facilitate

development of the project
