‘08 Year-end Updates

• Student Course (GN) Records– High School Credit Earned (GN150)• New option “P”• Only use when partial credit applies• Use “Y” when credit equals what is on the course

master record • “*” ‘Course does not earn credit’ no longer valid

– Instead use “Y” and 0.00 in the High School Credit element on the Course Master

– When “Y” and not = 0.00, error 467 is generated by aggs

• Definition of date for early aggregation processing is changed– For attendance checking

• No longer the last day of school• Calculated value

– Last day of school + 4 days

– HQPD requirement checks now uses early flag– No changes in methodology for the dates used in

course or testing records• June 15th

• Aggregations were modified to check program codes as they apply to the reporting period. Only the program codes required for the current reporting period will be included in the agg validation process. This will limit the errors to only relevant programs codes.
