Leadership Local Skills Development

Solid Rock Life and Business is working with the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology to transform the UTC Lira to a Center of Excellence in Road Construction under the World Bank funded, Uganda Skills Development Project (USDP) which is being managed by the Ugandan Ministry of Education and Sports. This multimillion-dollar project is expected to be concluded in 2021.

Solid Rock Life and Business is working with the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology to transform the UTC Elgon to a Center of Excellence in Residential Construction under the World Bank funded, Uganda Skills Development Project (USDP) which is being managed by the Ugandan Ministry of Education and Sports. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility and push to enhance the leadership qualities of Ugandan Decision Makers, SRLB partnered with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development (MEMD), the Uganda Chamber of Mines and Petroleum (UCMP), the National Logistics Platform (NLP) to provide the John Maxwell Leadership training and coaching to 45 most senior executives. This training was attended by officials from UNOC, PAU, UNRC, Petroleum Directorate, UCMP executive members etc

GIZ Skills for Construction ProjectFunded by GIZ and its donor partners, the consortium Solid Rock Life and Business and GOPA are implementing one of the largest capacity building projects in Uganda. We are empowering 1500 Ugandans in construction skills and readiness for the Oil and Gas industry and beyond. Important components of this programme are the training and certification of all trainees in life skills and ECITB International Health and Safety Passport. 525 trainees are further trained and internationally certified to ECITB level 2 Pipefitting and Rigging.

Jacklyn Makaaru Arinaitwe, PhD is an economist, researcher, and policy analyst with over nine years of research in several dimensions of economic development. She has worked with policy think tanks and academic institutions. She is a scholar of governance and political economy. Her work experience is diverse, having worked on socio-economic issues, economic empowerment, employment creation, public expenditure governance, and sustainable development. Her professional skills include research, project management, protocol/framework development, impact evaluations, survey design and implementation, capacity building, budgeting and managing project budgets.

Juliet is a seasoned HR professional with a total of 20 years working experience and holds a BA in Social Sciences, a Mini MBA in Oil and Gas, is an Associate Member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel Development and has several professional development courses. She has diverse senior management HR experience in the area of strategic human resources and performance and is fluent in French and English. She has extensive experience across industries including working with International Development Agencies/Organizations. Juliet is also an experienced speaker and training leader and plays a role in our capacity building strategy and development.

Richard holds an MBA, BBA and UDBS and has Over 20 years of experience providing Administrative and Financial Management expertise to Large-Scale, Complex, Local and International Development Programs. He has Extensive Experience in overseeing Financial, Grants & Operations Management -including Accounting, Capacity Building, Contracts and Program Administration, Procurement, Planning and Implementation, Fleet Management, Logistics management, Human Resource Management and Reporting. He has extensive international work experience in the African continent in a wide array of areas including working to develop strong Public Private Partnerships at senior levels.

An Independent Certified Coach, Teacher and Speaker with The John Maxwell Team, Pasima provides effective team communication and structure that is important for forging relationships equipping corporate team with the proper attitudes to develop high potential leaders.An Alumni of Grambling State University (Summa Cum Laude) and University of Phoenix (Summa Cum Laude), Pasima holds several certifications in Facilitation, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma and PMP. She is fluent in English, French and Portuguese and is an avid reader and health guru.

PASIMA SULE, PMP, ITILExecutive Director - GlobalOperationsFranklin holds an MBA in Operations and Supply Chain Management and several professional certificates from leading universities (University of Wisconsin, Stanford University & Arizona State University). Franklin has a decade of Project Management experience in Warehousing Design, Construction Logistics, Operations management and Procurement, directing teams of over 300 people. An Agile communicator, fluent in English and French, Franklin has held managerial positions for the last 20 years across industries in the US, Europe, Central & West Africa. Franklin also has specific international development / humanitarian operations experience having worked in helping the MONUSCO (UN Largest Peace Keeping Mission) implement its Supply Chain Management Operational Cell and Mission wide Acquisition Plan

FRANKLIN BOUGUEP, MBA Executive Director -Energy & EducationCorporate Executive and Business Development and Operations Advisor and Consultant, domestically and internationally, Alonzo was appointed by the Board of Directors of DuPont Walston as Vice President of the Administrative Division, Wallette became the first African American Officer of a major Wall Street Investment Banking Firm. He also held senior executive management positions in Operations, Human Resources, Sales and Administrative Management with Fortune 500 companies- Western Electric, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Control Data Corporation and Carnation Company. Wallette holds a B.S. in Zoology from Howard University and Certificates from the Advanced Management Programs at the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
