All Parks and facilities are open to the public and may be scheduled for specific use through the Parks and Recreation Department at 703.335.8872. Please note, the rental application is a request only, not a guarantee.A Facility Use Application is required for all facility reservations. Special Permits, in addition to the Field Use Application may be required for after hours events, special events, or group use. Payment, if required, must accompany a Facility Use Application. The Department does not accept tentative reservations. Cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance for shelters and at least 48 hours in advance for other facility reservations in order to receive a refund. Applications are available at the Costello Park Business Office. All rentals are subject to availability and must be booked and paid for 7 days in advance of event. Certain restrictions may apply. Rates are on a ‘per hour’ basis, unless otherwise noted. Deposits are a one time refundable fee, restrictions may apply.Field Application: Athletic fields and park grounds are available for rental to registered leagues and group users. Cost for permits vary on the type of usage and the duration of the request. All Spring field usage requests are accepted beginning February 1st of each calendar year for a March 15th through July 1st season. All Fall field usage requests are accepted beginning July 1st of each calendar year for an August 1st – November 15th season. Note: All fields will be assigned by March15th. Permits will be issued at time of application approval.
