Kin by John Lewis is made for modern life. Affordable, well designed, contemporary yet timeless. Inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian cultures the Spring Summer 18 collection has a utilitarian identity and hints of sportswear with jersey detailing. Highlights from the season include a tie detail trench designed for transeasonal dressing and a denim tunic dress worn over a high neck collar. Primary colours in pops of yellow, blue and red are featured alongside bold prints and breton stripes. Complementing the collection, giant oversized bags take centre stage alongside the classic white trainer and v-neck heels.
Launching in March, Kin by John Lewis welcomes the return of graphic designer Laura Slater with a capsule collection that combines her modernist prints with oversized silhouettes. Inspired by architecture from a summer spent in California, Laura explores layering of graphic shapes, linear detail and repeat block patterns. Laura’s print story is found across tops, skirts, dresses, trousers and jackets in a 16 piece collection.
