Arline HildA MetA CAstilloArline Hilda Meta Castillo (nee Feller) was born on December 1, 1925, in Hustisford, Wisconsin, the daughter of Arnold and Hilda (nee Bergmann) Feller.

She attended and graduated from Bethany Lutheran School and Hustisford High School. After high school, she worked in canning factories and a shoe factory.

She was a life-long member of Bethany Lutheran Church, Hustisford, being baptized, confirmed in her Christian faith and united in holy matrimony to Dionicio Castillo, Jr. on September 27, 1947. All these important Christian events took place at Bethany Lutheran Church.

Arline and Dio Castillo were blessed with four children, James, Mary, Rita and Sarah. Both Arline and Dio instilled in their children the importance of God’s Word and joyfully lived the confession of the Psalmist: “I rejoiced with those who said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the LORD’” (Psalm 122:1). She continually and humbly emphasized that all honor, praise and glory be to her Lord Jesus and not to her. Her cherished hope was that her family and many others would place their trust in their Lord and Savior in God-given faith by God’s grace.

Arline was a devoted, God-fearing wife, a loving, caring and hard-working mother whose dedication to her Lord and to her family strongly influenced the entire family. Her God-given gifts of a remarkable memory and a command for detail were truly blessings to her family and to many others.

She was a proud, patriotic member of the Hustisford Ladies Auxiliary, especially since both her husband Dio and her brother Marvin served God and country in World War II.

Those who in Christ may look forward to seeing Arline in heaven include her children: Rev. James (Sherry) Castillo, Mary (Rev. Norman) Seeger, Rita (Rev. Mark)

Bartsch and Sarah (Anthony “Tony”) Neu; her 16 grandchildren Dr. Daniel (Dr. Reshma) Castillo, Rachel (Chris) Kozina, Christa (Kyle) Roethle, Dr. Mary (Dr. Chris) Burnett, Kathryn (Alan) Meihak, Laura (Casey) Pufahl, Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Loberger, Emily (Courtney) Schmidt, Amanda (Jason) Paltzer, Jonathan (Leah) Bartsch, Adriane (Tom) Klingbeil, Abby Bartsch, Martin Neu, James Neu, Timothy Neu

and Cayla Neu, and her 25 great-grandchildren; her sis-ter Ardis Bischoff and her brother Marvin (Phyllis) Feller, her sister-in-law, Jacinta Rodriguez, her brothers-in-law Tori Castillo, Ricardo (Gloria) Castillo, Gerry Castillo and Ray (Mary) Castillo; and her wonderful nephews, nieces, relatives and dear friends.

Arline was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Dio Castillo on May 1, 1995; by her parents Arnold and Hilda Feller; by her sister Marguruete Schiller; by her brothers-in-law Edgar Schiller and Norman Bischoff.

Arline was called to her eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, the Lord’s Day, March 9, 2014, while at the Hartford Hospital. Her time of grace on this earth was 88 years, 3 months, 8 days.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, 2014 from 4-7pm and Saturday, March 15 from 10-11am at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church. Funeral service will follow at 11am at the Church. Rev. Timothy Bauer will officiate.

Her body will be laid to rest at the Hustisford Cemetery next to her beloved husband Dio’s grave site, as they will both await their glorious bodily resurrection on the Lord Jesus’ great Day of Resurrection on the Last Day.

“Because I live, you also will live.” (John 14:19)Memorials to Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church would

be appreciated. The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home of Hustisford is

Five By Design brings Club Swing to Schauer CenterSwing along with Five By Design at the Schauer Arts & Activities

Center on Sunday, March 30 at 3:00 pm and Monday, March 31 at 2:00 pm. Five By Design’s Club Swing follows the rise and fall of the big band from 1937 to 1955. From Benny Goodman’s Bugle Call Rag to Louis Prima’s Sing, Sing, Sing, the nationally acclaimed vocal ensemble’s harmonies celebrate the signature sounds of Swing.

Five By Design originated in the 1980s with their flagship produc-tion Radio Days, commemorating the 50th anniversary of World War II. Following the immense success of their first production and a renewed interest in swing, the Baltimore Symphony requested a production from Five By Design, which eventually led to the pre-miere of Club Swing in 2001. Highlighting the big band era, the show is presented from the fictional Hotel Crosby “where the music is hot, the drinks are cool, and the legend lives forever.” Five By Design has gone on to create three more productions that continue to push swing to the next level.Tickets to see Five By Design are $36 or $32 for adults and $10 for students. Juneau residents may receive $4 off adult tickets to the Sunday performance; discount must be requested at time of purchase, some restric-tions apply. Tickets can be purchased at the Schauer Center Box Office Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at 147 N. Rural Street in Hartford, charge by phone at 262-670-0560, ext. 3 or online at SchauerCenter.org.
