FORMULA MANIPAL• Formula Manipal is Manipal University's

official Formula Student Team.• To conceptualize, design, fabricate, test and

race a single seater, formula style care; for an international event called ‘Formula Student’.

• We formed in 2008 and since have raced on various circuits across Italy, Austria and UK.

• Formula SAE is a student design competition organized by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Holding Competition since 1978.

• SAE Design competitions draw more than 4,500 students from 500 universities on 6 continents.

Overview of our Journey

• Designed and Manufactured 4 fully functioning Racing Cars with the 5th under construction.

• Since 2008 we have been to Italy, Austria and UK.• For FSAE-2008 Formula Manipal was the only team selected

from Asia.• 3rd amongst the six Indian teams in FSAE-2009 (65th in

overall world ranking).• Best Engineered and the Lightest Indian FSAE Car in 2010.
