It is with great delight that I invite you to sponsor and exhibit at the ALIA National 2016 Conference, being held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from Monday 29 August to Thursday 1 September 2016.

Adelaide is globally regarded as a wine and food connoisseur’s paradise. As the wine capital of Australia, the most enviable wine lists compliment the best menus. EXHIBITOR INCLUSIONS: y One conference universal access pass which entitles

you to ‘access all areas’ of the conference sessions. This pass can be used by any of your company representatives at any one particular time to access sessions. This also includes tickets to the dinner, welcome and farewell receptions.

y One exhibitor pass with name badge and daily catering. This also includes tickers to the welcome and farewell receptions.

y Company name and contact details in the conference handbook as an exhibitor.

ADDITIONAL EXHIBITOR PASSES

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. By signing and returning this agreement you are agreeing to a non-exclusive Sponsorship/Exhibition agreement between yourselves and the Australian Library and Information Association on the terms and conditions set out below and in the agreement.

2. The ALIA National 2016 Conference will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre from 29 August to 1 September 2016.

3. Sponsorship and exhibition applications will be acknowledged in writing on receipt. Confirmation of acceptance of your application will be sent in writing together with a tax invoice.

4. Sponsorship/Exhibition package entitlements will commence only on payment of all monies owing. Full payment is requirement within 14 days from date of invoice unless your sponsorship/exhibition application is submitted on or after 28 May 2016 in which case full payment will be required immediately.

5. Sponsorship packages are limited in accordance with the prospectus and booth allocations are sold on a “first-in” basis based on full payment. If your first preference is unavailable we will contact you to discuss an alternative preference.

6. ALIA reserves the right to decline sponsors or exhibitors.

7. All amounts are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 10%.

8. We reserve the right to vary package entitlements or booth allocations if necessary.

9. Cancellation/Amendments: If you wish to cancel or change your sponsorship/exhibition package you must advise us in writing to [email protected]. We reserve the right to charge the cancellation fees as follows: a. On or prior to 28 May 2016: 50% of the total value of the sponsorship/exhibition package. b. After 28 May 2016: 100% of the total value of the sponsorship/exhibition package.

10. All cheques are to be made payable to ‘Australian Library and Information Association Ltd’ and are to be payable in Australian dollars. Payment can also be made by credit card (Mastercard and Visa only) or direct bank deposit by EFT.

11. Payments by credit card will incur a credit card surcharge of 2.5%. This will be added onto your payment at the time of processing.

12. ALIA reserves the right to cancel this event and refund your sponsorship payment in full. In this case liability will be limited to that amount and the exhibitor/sponsor shall have no further claim for damages or loss.

13. Conference universal access pass entitles the registrant to access all conference sessions. This universal access pass includes the dinner, welcome reception and farewell receptions. Registration to the breakfast functions should be purchased separately once registration opens.

14. All exhibition times noted here are indicative and ALIA reserves the right to alter all times. Exhibitors and sponsors agree not to hold offsite events that may remove delegates from the conference and exhibition venue during exhibition hours.

15. Cancellation of any additional exhibitor passes will incur a cancellation fee.

16. Please check your booth location carefully. ALIA cannot be held responsible for positioning of any competitor.
