TimingThe Spirit of Survival uses D-Tag Timing Shoe tag system to ensure that everyone receives an accurate time. Digital clocks will be located at the Finish Line and the Relay turnaround point.

The Timing Tag is disposable. Do NOT return it! Other timing devices will not work on race day! Follow the instructions on your D-Tag on how to affix it to your shoe, with number facing up. Make sure the number printed on your D-Tag MATCHES YOUR BIB NUMBER.

Results Printed results and times will be posted by the exit of the Runner Hospitality tent. An awards ceremony for the top 3 male and top 3 female competitors will be held at the spectator tent at 10am(Sponsored by the Lawton Firefighters Association #1882). Official results will be posted to the website as soon as possible.

Smile for the camera! Official Race Photos of you and your loved ones crossing the Finish Line and at the EXPO are provided by Crimnson Clover Photography and will be available for purchase. Check the SOS website to view and order race photos within 24 hours following the event.

PETS NO animals on the coursesWhile Elmer Thomas Park does not restrict animals on leashes, we do not allow animals to participate in events. For safety reasons, pets should be left at home due to large crowds.

Host Hotel The hotel is located conveniently just off of I-44 between Gore and Lee Boulevard on Interstate Drive. The Host Hotel is host of Packet Pickup and Registration and the Pasta Dinner on Saturday evening presented by the Hilton Garden Inn, and a free breakfast will be available early to runners on race day. For those needing late checkout following the race, accommodations can be made.

Vendor Expo We are excited to offer an on-site EXPO in conjunction with Race Registration and Packet Pickup at the Host Hotel.

This event is sponsored by the Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce and Industry and provides shopping opportunities for your last minute needs.

Start/Finish LineThe Start/Finish Line is the large inflatable archway by the stage and the grandstands.

Runner HospitalityAfter crossing the Finish Line, collect your finisher’s medal and head to the Runner Hospitality tent filled with drinks and snacks. Detach the Hospitality ticket from your bib to gain entry. RACE FINISHERS ONLY.

Family Reunion AreaDuring your event, some areas of the park will be barricaded and closed to foot traffic. After crossing the Finish Line, you’ll be directed immediately to the Runner Hospitality tent and after enjoying some drinks and snacks, you can exit at the Family Reunion Area to meet up with your family and friends waiting for you.

IMPORTANT KIDS MARATHON INFORMATION1. Your Child’s Name is printed on BOTH wristbands that are included in the race packet

2. Place on Your Child’s Wrist On race day, place one wristband on your child’s wrist before their race starts

3. Place 2nd Band on Your Wrist or Authorized Adult’s Wrist The other wristband must be worn on race day by the responsible adult or guardian who is authorized to pick-up your child from the Superhero Kids Zone

4. ONE ADULT ONLY Kids Marathon Finishers with wristbands are allowed in the Zone and may be accompanied by ONE ADULT OR GUARDIAN with 2nd wristband in the Kids Zone.

Pick-Up InformationYour child can be picked up from the Kids Zone at any time FOLLOWING THE RACE AND BEFORE 4 PM. FOR SECURITY PURPOSES, only a person wearing your child’s wristband will be authorized to remove your designated child from the secure area. This could include a parent, grandparent, other guardian, teacher, friend, etc.
