SAFRA Membership Grand Draw

All valid paying SAFRA members are eligible to participate in the annual SAFRA Membership Grand Draw and stand to win attractive prizes! All unredeemed SAFRAPOINTS at the end of each calendar year will be converted to grand draw chances.

Every 50 SAFRAPOINTS is equivalent to 1 additional grand draw chance!

From 1 Jan 2019 to 31 Dec 2019, members that renew their membership will stand additional chances to win a Volkswagen Passat or win a holiday for 2 to Prague, San Francisco, Paris, London or more! There are a total of 50 prizes to be won.

Combining SAFRAPOINTS

SAFRAPOINTS earned by Dependent members will be combined with the SAFRAPOINTS earned by Principal members. The combined SAFRAPOINTS balance will be reflected in the Principal Member’s account.

Dependent members who wish to enquire and redeem the combined SAFRAPOINTS will need to be authorized by the Principal member. For more details, please refer to Frequently Asked Questions section (Page 23).

You can check your SAFRAPOINTS balance and redeem your rewards at our Customer Service Counters located in our SAFRA Clubs from 9am to 9pm daily.

You can redeem your SAFRAPOINTS by going online. Simply follow the steps below.

Processing of Rewards RedemptionPlease allow up to 14 working days (from the date of redemption) for processing of rewards redemption. Depending on the item/service redeemed, it will be sent by email or postal mail to you.

For voucher(s) that are worth $50 and more in value, SAFRA members will be informed to collect at their preferred SAFRA club.

For $10 Community Chest Donation, the tax exemption invoice will be mailed to you by Community Chest within 2 months from the date of redemption.

1. Who are eligible for SAFRAPOINTS? All paying SAFRA members, including Life Members are eligible.

2. What is combined SAFRAPOINTS? SAFRAPOINTS earned by Dependent members will be combined with the

SAFRAPOINTS earned by Principal members. The combined SAFRAPOINTS balance will be reflected in the Principal member’s membership account.

  Dependent members who wish to enquire and redeem the combined SAFRAPOINTS

will need to be authorized by the Principal member.

3. Who can check and redeem the combined SAFRAPOINTS? All valid Principal members and their authorised Dependent member(s) can check

and redeem the combined SAFRAPOINTS via any of the three ways below. a. Login to membership account at mySAFRA (http://mysafra.safra.sg) b. Login to membership account at mSAFRA (mobile app) c. Visit any of our SAFRA Clubs’ Customer Service Counter from 9am to 9pm daily For authorised members below the age of 16, they are required to visit any of any SAFRA

Clubs’ Customer Service Counter to check and redeem the combined SAFRAPOINTS.

4. How can Principal members authorise their Dependent members to check/redeem the combined SAFRAPOINTS?

Principal members can authorise their dependent member(s) via any of the three ways below.

a. Login to membership account at mySAFRA (http://mysafra.safra.sg) b. Login to membership account at mSAFRA (mobile app) c. Visit any of our SAFRA Clubs’ Customer Service Counter from 9am to 9pm daily to

complete a request form Activation is immediate. Upon completion of application, the Dependent member(s)

can start to check and redeem SAFRAPOINTS. Principal members can also unauthorise Dependent member(s) from accessing the

combined SAFRAPOINTS via any of the three ways above.

5. What happens if i lose or damage my SAFRA membership card? You will have to report the loss or damage at the Customer Service Counter at any

SAFRA Club for any immediate replacement. SAFRAPOINTS will not be issued without a valid membership card. A replacement card will be issued at $10 before GST for a lost card and $3 before GST for a damaged card. The damaged card has to be surrendered. For subsequent lost card replacement, you will need to submit a written request to SAFRA by mail to:

1. SAFRAPOINTS will be awarded to the member having possession of a valid SAFRA membership card and presenting it upon payment to the cashier for services or products at the participating that are restricted and/or where SAFRAPOINTS will not be given include spending made at The Winner’ Circle (Slot Machines), purchase of selected vouchers, car park charges, payment of SAFRA-AIG or SAFRA-AIA Insurance Plans, security deposits, fines, tender deposits and document fees, and fees for lost and damaged cards,

2. Every $1 spent entitles the member to one (1) SAFRAPOINT with the exception of services or purchases mentioned clause 1. However, additional bonus SAFRAPOINTS may be earned during special offers or promotions, for the duration of the offer or promotion.

3. SAFRAPOINTS can only be credited into the individual member’s account. In the event that the member does not want the SAFRAPOINTS to be credited into his account, the SAFRAPOINTS will be forfeited. SAFRAPOINTS cannot be credited into another member’s account.

4. No monthly statement will be issued.

5. SAFRA reserves the right to determine, vary or change from time to time the type of quantum of qualifying purchases and the corresponding number points to be awarded without prior notice.

6. SAFRAPOINTS have no monetary or cash values.

7. SAFRAPOINTS will not be issued without a valid SAFRA membership card. In the event that the SAFRA membership card is lost or damaged, it is the members’ responsibility to report it and obtain a replacement card. A fee of $10 before GST and $3 before GST will be imposed on lost and damaged cards respectively.

8. Transfer or combination of SAFRAPOINTS is not permitted among ordinary members. Transfer or combination of SAFRAPOINTS is only allowed between Principal and Dependent members. A formal request has to be made by the Principal member and the arrangement will persist indefinitely unless otherwise stated. With this transfer, the Dependent member would also transfer his or her right of obtaining lucky draw chances with the regards to SAFRAPOINTS programme to the principal member.

9. Redemption of items is subject to the member having sufficient SAFRAPOINTS and availability of the items. SAFRA reserves the right to remove or change the redemption items, change or substitute the redemption conditions at any time without prior notice.

10. SAFRA reserves the right to change the SAFRAPOINTS required for redemption of various items without any prior notice.

11. For redemption items that may be affected by SAFRAPOINTS and cash payment, the member shall make the necessary cash or credit card payment at SAFRA clubs or via mySAFRA.

12. A member may redeem products and vouchers via mySAFRA, SAFRA Link or at the Customer Service Counters of any SAFRA Club.

13. A member may redeem instant discount off SAFRA operated facilities, activities, courses and membership fees via mySAFRA or at the Customer Service Counters of any SAFRA Club.

14. Redemption of instant discount discount at participating outlets is to be administered at the latter’s premises only.

15. A member shall present his/her SAFRA membership card for the redemption of instant discounts from SAFRA participating outlets and SAFRA operated facilities.

16. Redeemed items cannot be returned or exchanged for other items and are not refundable for cash or credit.

6. Can i authorise another person to collect the rewards on my behalf? Yes, you can authorize someone to collect the rewards by completing the authorisation

section in the collection letter. The authorised person will need to present your SAFRA Membership Card during the collection.

7. Is there an expiry date for SAFRAPOINTS? SAFRAPOINTS earned between 1 Jan and 30 Nov will expire on 31 Dec of the same

calendar year. SAFRAPOINTS earned in the month of Dec will expire on 31 Dec of the following year. Upon expiry, unredeemed SAFRAPOINTS will be automatically converted into grand draw chances. Every 50 SAFRAPOINTS will earn you 1 grand draw chance.

8. What will happen to my remaining SAFRAPOINTS when I terminate my SAFRA membership?

The remaining SAFRAPOINTS will be forfeited.
