he Media Manager is simply the standard from which the lectern industry is based. Two locking slide-out drawers and flip-up shelf are standard features that come fully assembled. Grommets are strategically placed throughout the Media Manager for well-organized cord management. Removable doors allow easy equipment installation and access. Instructors and integrators alike will appreciate the state-of-the-art design.

High-quality materials and construction further set apart the Media Manager. A special NAUF particleboard is used as a healthy alternative to formaldehyde-rich pressed cores. Raw material manufacture and assembly methods are controlled by ISO 9001:2008 standards, making the Media Manager the most reliable lectern available.

The Overbridge does such a great job at keeping touchscreen displays and AV controls easily accessible. It’s very convenient for power and communications modules as well – no more having to look around for an electrical or data connection!

nce again Spectrum customers have spoken and we have listened and designed a product to meet their needs. Spectrum’s Impression 30 Imaging Cart is built to store, charge and manage software on full-sized laptops in a secure and durable cart.

As with many of Spectrum's products, cord-management is the key to keeping storage, charging and imaging easy. Drop-down wire trays make it simple to neatly arrange charging and Ethernet wires for a variety of laptop brands and models. When the cords are tucked away, the wire tray closes hiding the cord management away. Housed in the back of the Impression 30 is the power strip, timer and imaging switch. The charging and imaging lights can be monitored through the acrylic windows in the heavy duty steel, powder coated doors. The doors have double-bolt locks to protect both the equipment and students from the electrical wiring.

The Customer:Chippewa Valley Technical College, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Higher Education. Chippewa Valley Technical College is part of the Wisconsin Technical College System located in the state of Wisconsin serving an eleven-county area.

The Project: Learning Center and Student Commons , Business Education Center~%�~�� !��~��<�� diversity services. CVTC required computer benching and collaborative work areas for students that gave an inviting work area and open feeling to the room. The Student Commons required similar seating arrangements including soft lounge seating, and both regular height and café tables with seating for an inviting arrangement for dining and collaboration.

The Solution: Spectrum designed custom computer benching for the Learning Center that not only gave privacy, but also imparted an open feel to the room. Café and regular height tables and seating, along with soft seating chairs and couches tied the room together adding the collaborative edge. The Student Commons is an extension of the Learning Center using the same style tables and seating for dining and collaboration. A variety of soft seating including couches and chairs with tablet arms for homework or a laptop was the ultimate in collaboration as the seats were easily moved to form larger groups or to move closer to share ideas.

The Customer:Winnebago County Emergency Operations Center. Rockford, Illinois. Government.Winnebago County Emergency Operations Center serves over 295,000 people. The Emergency Operations Centers serve as decision-making and coordination hubs during emergencies by allowing multiple response agencies to gather together to share disaster intelligence, maintain situational awareness and maximize the delivery of emergency assistance to jurisdictions impacted by disasters.

The Project: Winnebago County needed to create an emergency operations center to house technology needed to gather, identify, and evaluate information �� >�~�@�� The personnel would also need to work in collaborative setting, and at other times would need to face any of the walls that held large screen monitors, white boards, charts and maps.

The Solution: A four workstations head table was designed with self-storing monitors giving access to both a computer and a spacious worksurface at the �� |�� ~|� ��@�� workstations nestled between the structural columns. The crowning design achievement came from the pivoting workstations. Two desks with two workstations each were mounted on a central column. The column allowed the two desks to pivot into three positions to meet the tasks of the personnel – facing the head table, joined together for collaboration and a larger worksurface, and facing the many information sources mounted on the wall.

The Project: CFAUSD was implementing an iPad® program with more than 300 iPad computing devices to be distributed throughout the school district. ��

The Solution: Spectrum worked closely with the school district’s Educational Technology Department to get feedback on CFAUSD needs through supplying the school district with prototypes to test. Through the partnership with CFAUSD, Spectrum developed the InTouch40 Tablet Cart. The cart not only can charge and securely store 40 iPad, e-reader or tablet computing devices, it has the capability to allow the devices to sync with a “master” computer.

The Customer:Hillsborough County Public Schools, Hillsborough County, Florida. Education.Hillsborough County Public Schools is the eighth largest school district in the country and third largest in Florida. The district serves over 200,000 students and approximately 25,000 full-time employees.

The Project: Hillsborough’s project called for newly remodeled rooms to double as classrooms and High Stakes Testing Labs. These labs would be equipped �� ¢�� @J@��=�� =�� *�� and laminated worksurfaces.

The Solution: �� ~|�� ;��[<��J� ��@��=�� =��=�� the peripherals. In minutes, a computer lab could be converted to a standard classroom. With the monitor stored away, 19 inches of laminated worksurface for projects or note taking were available. The heavy-duty metal legs were protected from scratches with powder coating and casters allowed for easy movement of the desks for cleaning or rearranging the classroom.

High Stakes Testing Labs Hillsborough County Public Schools, FL

The Customer:Mayo Clinic Health System, Luther Campus, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Health Care. Mayo Clinic Health System provides Eau Claire, Wis., and the surrounding communities with a number of medical specialties ranging from comprehensive cardiac and trauma care to family-based primary care services.

The Project: When the Mayo Clinic Health System wanted their patients to feel more at home, they took a long look at the sterile computer carts used in the patient rooms. They wanted a computer station that complimented the newly remodeled rooms, but also were usable sitting, standing and in bed.

The Solution: Spectrum developed the Patient Room Computer Station to be able to provide access to technology while maintaining an at-home environment �� @�� height moves with the whisper-quiet mechanism to adjust to a height that is most comfortable for use. When not needed, the workstation can be rolled out of the way, blending into the décor until it is needed again.

Patient Room Computer Station Mayo Clinic Health System

The Customer:Realityworks®, Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Continuing EducationRealityworks develops interactive products that change lives. They are the creators of the original computerized infant simulator and their latest model, RealCare® Baby, monitors and measures the quality of care it receives.

The Project: RealCare® Baby CartRealityworks needed a mobile cart to store multiple RealCare Baby simulators and accessories. Because the “babies” have moving parts, contain a computer for recording feedback and was rechargeable, the cart would need electrical outlets, cord management and be able to protect the babies from excessive jostling. Unique packaging was also required so the cart could be shipped to Realityworks, unpackaged, loaded with babies and then repackaged and shipped to the end user.

The Solution: Spectrum was able to design a cart that met the needs of Realityworks. Behind the steel chassis and doors secured with double-bolt locks, the �� @��drawer gives the cart space to store accessories. The back of the cart houses the spectrum designed and built wiring and wire management system keeping wiring neat and in place with high-voltage power away from the end-user. Special consideration for reusable packaging made and included a ramp so the cart was easily rolled off and back on the palette.

RealCare Baby CartRealityworks® Inc., Eau Claire, WI

The Customer:The Fashion Institute of Technology, State University of New York, New York City. Education. The Fashion Institute of Technology’s campus encompasses an entire city block and serves more than 10,000 students. The college offers degrees in diverse and unique subjects in design, fashion, art, communications, and business.

The Project: The academic computing classroom C232 was not learning or collaboration friendly. Key success of this room is collaborative work between �� |�� but were damaged needing replacement on a regular basis. This made the room unavailable during repairs with classes canceled and rescheduled. Because of the room’s poor layout for collaborative learning, both students and instructors would opt-out from using the room when given the opportunity.

The Solution: The Spectrum Team worked with FIT staff designing a layout focusing on the center of the room where students could see and hear the � ��|�� ;��[��

The Outcome: The remodeled C232 came back into use after it was remodeled. The new design gave FIT an energized room designed to encourage collaboration �� =��<�� frequent repairs reducing class cancelations and rescheduling. The new design brought both student and instructor back, truly making it a “Prodigal Classroom.”

Terms and ConditionsSection 1: Order and Payment Terms1.1 PricesUnless otherwise stated all prices are F.O.B. shipping point. Prices are adjusted periodically. Pricing is subject to change without notice. It is the responsibility of the customer to confirm pricing before submitting an order.

1.2 Payment Terms The method of payment is required prior to placing an order. Acceptable methods of payment include cash, check, or credit card (MasterCard or Visa only). Credit card orders must be approved prior to the acceptance of an order. Credit card orders will be processed for payment at the time of shipment for standard product orders and at the time of order for customized product orders. For accounts with an established line of credit, cash terms are net 30 days from date of invoice. Acceptable payment methods for orders placed against the line of credit include cash and check only. Line of credit balances cannot be paid using a credit card after submitting and receiving an order. For account review or to apply for a line of credit contact our Customer Service Help Line at 1-800-235-1262. Should the financial responsibility of the Buyer at any time become unsatisfactory to the Seller, the Seller reserves the right to require payment for any shipment hereunder in advance or satisfactory security. If the Buyer fails to make payment in accordance with the agreed upon terms or fails to comply with any provision hereof, the Seller may, at its option, (and in addi-tion to other remedies) cancel any unshipped portion of this order, Buyer to remain liable for all unpaid accounts.

1.3 Minimum OrdersThere is no minimum order level. Orders of all sizes are accepted and appreciated.

1.4 Past Due AccountsAll past due accounts (unpaid after 30 days) will be billed a service charge of 1.5% per month or 18% annually on the unpaid delinquent balance until the account is paid in full. Invoices unpaid after 30 days will cause pending orders to be held and delayed. It is recommended that all accounts are kept current to prevent order shipment delays.

1.5 Drop ShipmentsOrders requesting shipment to multiple delivery addresses (drop shipments) are available. However a processing charge of $10 per additional delivery address will be applied.

1.6 Warehousing ChargesOrders requesting a warehousing period will be reviewed individually for consideration. All orders approved for warehousing are subject to a warehousing charge. Warehousing charge can vary based on the size of the packaged product. 1.7 Modified or Custom Product Order Acceptance & Cancellations In the case of modified and custom orders requiring design and development labor and special or non-stock materials, the Buyer understands that their placement of an order and/or signing of the Customer Approval Sheet is an agreement and authorization to begin work. Do to the incurred costs of development, materials, and production, cancellation will be accepted only upon Buyer’s acceptance and payment in full for finished items and items within 10 days of completion; and on other items in process of manufacture, the cancellation charged shall be the percentage of completion as applied to the purchase price. Where unprocessed material only is involved the cancellation charge shall be the cost of the material plus 10%.

1.8 Modified or Custom Product Order Lead-TimesSpectrum believes there is value in creating unique solutions for our customer’s unique needs. Many times there are special materials that need to be ordered, designs created, machines pro-grammed, and finally the manufacturing of the items. As such there is a need to quote different lead-times.

Due to the custom nature of these products all adjustments or specifications are included on a “Customer Approval Sheet”. The approximate lead-times below begin once the signed “Customer Approval Sheet” is received by Spectrum. Orders received without a signed “Customer Approval Sheet” will not be processed until it is received. Approximate lead times for Modified Products are 6-8 Weeks & Custom Products 10-12 Weeks. Delivery dates will be assigned and an order confirmation sent once the product is in our production schedule

1.9 Standard Product DesignsSpectrum’s product designs and specifications can change without notice. Spectrum takes pride in its innovative product designs. Thanks to continuous feedback from our customers we are able to provide the most up to date products on the market. Technology today changes at an incredible rate and Spectrum’s products need to change with it. Due to these design improvements some products may change over time. It is important to review current product specifications and information before ordering to ensure it will work in your application.

1.10 Standard Product Order Lead-TimesSpectrum strives to achieve 100% on-time delivery. With the large variety of products manufactured and sold by Spectrum many of them have different lead-times. We have broken our product lines into three categories: stocked, assemble-to-order, and made-to-order. The approximate lead times below include transportation time within the United States. Extreme customer or seasonal demand may impact these lead-times. Approximate lead times for Stocked Products are 3 Weeks, Assemble-to-Order Products 4 Weeks & Made-to-Order Products 6 Weeks. Delivery dates will be assigned and order confirmation sent once the product is in our production schedule.

Section 2: Freight Responsibilities2.1 Freight QuotationsSpectrum prepares a “freight quotation” for all orders shipped. The freight quotation is an estimate only and actual freight costs will be billed. The freight quotation is not intended to be used as the final amount that will be billed for freight. Unfortunately due to the length of time required to receive a purchase order from a customer, manufacturing lead-times, and volatility of fuel surcharges these amounts can vary from the time of the quote to the time of the shipment. As a result the actual amount invoiced to Spectrum by the freight carrier will be the amount billed to the customer.

2.2 Freight Quotations for International ShipmentsUpon request Spectrum will prepare a freight quotation for international shipments. All international freight quotations are estimates only. All costs incurred in the delivery of international shipments will be the responsibility of the customer and will be added to the invoice accordingly. Unless detailed otherwise, international freight quotations may not include duties, taxes, broker service costs, harbor and maintenance fees, terminal or port handling charges, or other destination charges. All costs incurred are the responsibility of the customer. For customers with transportation capabilities or third-party freight contracts Spectrum can arrange for shipments to be picked up at Spectrum’s facilities or delivered to a pre-arranged port or destination within the United States.

2.3 F.O.B. Shipping PointItems are shipped Freight on Board (F.O.B.) shipping point, from our facilities in Chippewa Falls, WI 54729. Under F.O.B. shipping point title of freight transfers to the customer once it leaves Spectrum’s facilities.

2.4 Special Delivery Requirements and FeesThe customer shall be responsible for all special delivery costs resulting from the shipment of their order. These costs will be invoiced at the time of service and include, but are not limited to: lift-gate service, inside delivery, street or door deliveries, extra manpower, fork-lift rental or use, redelivery or redirection of shipment, refusal of shipment, and terminal storage fees associated with delaying a delivery.

2.5 Customer Receiving ResponsibilitiesIt is the responsibility of each customer to carefully inspect all shipments before receiving and signing for them in good condition. Any quantity variances from the official packing slip or potential damage to the packaging or products must be clearly noted on the freight bill of lading and/or delivery receipt. No customer should sign the freight bill until all items are accounted for and in good condition. If there are questions regarding how to properly receive the shipment, note damage, or note shortages please contact Spectrum’s Customer Service Help Line at 1-800-235-1262 prior to accepting the delivery.

2.6 ShortagesWhen an order is inspected and the number of cartons is fewer than those listed on packing list and/or freight bill the customer must note it clearly on the freight bill of lading and/or the delivery receipt. If a freight bill is signed for as received in full the customer is responsible for any shortages. When this is the case we will honor the same pricing as on the original order.

2.7 Freight DamageAll products are inspected prior to packaging and leave our facilities in good condition. When an order is inspected and there is obvious freight damage the customer must note it clearly on the freight bill of lading and/or delivery receipt. If a freight bill is signed for as received in good condition the customer is responsible for any damages unless concealed damage is present. To protect yourself and your shipment do not sign the freight bill unless the damage is clearly noted. Disposition of the damaged items may be up to the delivery carrier so do not destroy the item or the items packaging materials unless directed to do so by the delivery carrier or Spectrum.

2.8 Concealed Freight DamageWhen you sign for and accept a shipment it is the customers’ responsibility to open and inspect immediately. Occasionally products can be damaged in shipment even though the shipping cartons appear to be in good condition. Be sure to note any irregularities to the cartons on the freight bill. If there is concealed freight damage found after the delivery carrier has left, it must be reported within 15 days of the receipt of the shipment. After 15 days no claims may be filed and all replacements will be sent at the customers’ expense.

2.9 Freight ClaimsIf shortages, obvious freight damage, or concealed freight damage are present they must be reported on the freight bill. If concealed damage is found it must be reported to the delivery carrier within 15 days of receipt of the shipment. After 15 days no claims may be filed and all replacements will be sent at the customers’ expense. Be certain to retain the packaging and the product for a claim to be reviewed. It is the responsibility of the customer to contact Spectrum to file a claim. We will assist our customers in any way we can to help settle a freight claim. Customers who utilize their own transportation or a 3rd Party need to work directly with those organizations to file a claim. Spectrum will assist if possible however in those cases the transportation contract and associated costs is the sole responsibility of the customer.

2.10 GeneralIf the above instructions are not complied with Spectrum will not be able to assist you with your claim against the delivery carrier and it will be necessary to bill you for the replacements. Spectrum is unable to assume liability for any discrepancy not reported within 15 days of receipt of the shipment. Please contact our Customer Service Help Line at 1-800-235-1262 for assistance.

Section 3: Product Warranty, Care and Maintenance Statements3.1 GeneralWE WILL MAKE IT RIGHT FOR YOU! Spectrum is committed to provide complete customer satisfaction. Each of our products are manufactured from the best materials available and each product is stringently monitored throughout the production process through our P.A.C.E. program (Product Assurance to meet Customer Expectations). 3.2 Warranty StatementWe guarantee all Spectrum products to be free of all defects in materials and workmanship, for the original owner, for a period of ten years. Any item deemed defective by Spectrum or the original manufacturer, under normal use conditions, will be repaired or replaced at Spectrum’s discretion. This warranty applies to all products manufactured and distributed by Spectrum except the prod-ucts listed below.Items that have a varying warranty include, but are not limited to, the following:

Warranty is void if product is not used for its intended purpose or subjected to an unusual application, multiple-shift use, alteration, accident, abuse or abnormal wear and tear. Representations of colors on-line and in printed materials are meant to be a close reference to the actual colors but not an exact match. Slight variations in color and texture of wood stains, powder coating, laminates, fabrics and other materials are normal in different manu-facturing lots; as such these variations are not considered defects.DESIGNED FOR INDOOR USE ONLY – Unless specifically stated in the product specifications, Spectrum’s products have been designed and constructed for indoor use only. Moving or using outdoors, or on excessively rough surfaces, may cause damage to the products and will void the warranty. If an outdoor application is desired please contact us to discuss potential custom design solutions. The warranty, as stated above, supersedes any previous warranties and is effective as of 9/1/2010

3.3 General Furniture Care and MaintenanceFurniture with Upholstery & Textile Surfaces: Ability to clean fabrics and textiles will vary based on the fabric or textile type. For best results, a professional service is recommended as is consulting with the fabric or textile manufacturer for cleaning codes and any specific instructions pertaining to your particular type. In general dirt and crumbs may be gently brushed or vacuumed off. All spills should be wiped up immediately. Vinyl textiles generally can be cleaned with warm soapy water and then wiped down with a warm damp cloth. Mechanical Parts, Casters & Wheels: Clean any dust, lint, dirt or debris away from the moving parts on a regular basis. Moving mechanisms have been designed and tested so they do not regularly require lubrication under normal operating conditions. Furniture with Wood Edges, Veneer and Laminate Surfaces: Clean all surfaces frequently with water dampened soft cloth, moving the cloth with the grain direction. Immediately remove any liquids that come in contact with wood surfaces with a blotting action to absorb liquid and buff dry. Carefully lift furnishings to move them, never pull them across the finished surface. For an additional safeguard, use a protective surface pad. This will ensure a lasting finish by protecting your furniture from possible damage caused by pens, cups and sharp objects. Avoid exposure of furniture to extremes of heat and cold, or to wide humidity variances. Avoid exposure of furniture to strong sun-light. Avoid exposure of furniture to harsh solvents such as nail polish remover, acetates, etc., as it will cause finish deterioration.Metal finishes: Wipe smooth powder-coat finishes and textured metals with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains and grease marks, use soap and water. Lightly brush textiles metals with a soft, dry brush to remove dirt.

Section 4: Return Policy1.1 Acceptable ReturnsAll sales are intended to be final. In special situations returns may be considered. All returns must be pre-authorized by Spectrum. Returned items are required to be in saleable condition. Return of products may be subject to restocking fees. Final credit amount to be determined after the returned product has been received and inspected by Spectrum. All credits will be given on customer account for application against future orders.

1.2 Return AuthorizationTo obtain a pre-authorization for a return contact our Customer Service Help Line at 1-800-235-1262. Be prepared to provide the following information:Customer Account Number, Customer Purchase Order Number, Shipment Date, Product Number & Reason For Return. If the request to return a product is approved you will be issued a “Return Authorization Number”. The customer must place this “Return Authorization Number” on the outside of all packages being returned. All returns must be in original packaging.

1.3 Return Freight Return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer. All return freight must be shipped prepaid. No returns will be accepted if sent freight collect or cash-on-delivery.

1.4 Restocking FeesThe standard restocking fee is 20% of the product cost. Final restocking fees are determined by Spectrum performing a thorough inspection of the returned item(s). All items must be returned in saleable condition. If there is damage requiring repairs, parts that need to be replaced, or repackaging required the final restocking fees will be determined by the amount of labor and material required. If the product is returned in such a condition that it cannot be repaired and/or resold there will be no credit given for the return. However if it is returned in first quality condition and in its original packaging the standard restocking fee may be reduced. Restocking fees will be deducted from the return credit or billed separately.

1.5 Return of Modified and Custom OrdersAll sales of modified or custom orders are considered final. No return of modified or custom orders will be considered unless items are deemed defective by Spectrum.

Section 5: Force Majeure5.1 Force MajeureSpectrum Industries, Inc. shall not be liable for delays in performance due to extraordinary events or circumstance beyond its control, such as war, strike, riot, crime, embargo, fuel or energy shortage, act of government authority, or act of God (Flood, Earthquake, Volcano, Fire, etc...). Additionally when delays in transportation, supplier failures, labor shortages, or any other cause beyond Spectrum Industries, Inc.’s reasonable control arise Spectrum shall not be held liable. When situations like the above mentioned arise Spectrum Industries Inc. reserves the right to extend the date of delivery for an appropriate amount of time or to cancel the customer purchase order. In the event that the above events occur Spectrum will attempt to work closely with the customer in an effort to build awareness and update dates of delivery.

Spectrum Industries has been honored to receive the GSA Evergreen Award for its commitment towards the pursuit of environmental sustainability through proactive waste prevention, material recovery and recycling, environmentally conscious product design and procurement and being a model facility for our community and our industry.

Our corrugation production system reduces waste by manufacturing the packaging materials on demand. By creating the packaging materials as they are needed it elim-inates obsolescence, excess inventory, and material costs. When customers use Spectrum-employed installers, corru-gation and packing materials are returned to our packaging system and reused. Also, large orders of popular products are bulk packaged to significantly reduce the amount of corrugated packaging material used on an order.

We operate an environmentally conscious powder-coat line and cleaning preparation wash system. The line oper-ates at room temperature and thus eliminates the need to heat the wash solution, saving considerable energy.With the wash system, any excess cleaning solution is cap-tured, filtered and recycled so that it can be re-used. No water is mixed in, used in the process, or disposed of. This eliminates a waste-water phosphorus discharge that had once averaged 1500 lbs per year. The cleaning solution itself contains no CFCs, HAPs, HHCs, aromatics, chrome or ozone depleting substances.

Earth Day at Spectrum Industries means so much more than cleaning the grounds at our two plant facilities for one day of the year. What started out as an annual event for a handful of employees has now evolved into a continuous effort by our workforce. Environmental programs are now in place to ensure protection and sustainability for not only our facilities, but also for the surrounding wetlands.

Post-manufacturing hardwood trimmings, particle board, agriculture board, and corrugation waste material are ground into a reusable fiber material. This material is widely used in the Agriculture industry as animal bedding because its absorbency and value as a compost material. Spectrum's primary recipient of the reusable fiber material, Five Star Dairy in Elk Mound, WI, feeds the composted material through a digester system, which creates biogas energy. The anaerobic digesters provide the Dairyland Power Cooperative (DPC) with a competitively priced renewable energy source in their service territory. The biogas reduces the cooperative’s reliance on traditional fossil fuels while providing support to its distribution network.

With intelligent product design, our product developers employ virtual prototypes to reduce energy and materials. We design products with environmentally conscious materials to maximize raw material utilization and limit scrap/waste. Throughout our raw material specification and procurement process, Spectrum Industries Inc. identifies materials and suppliers that allow the company to manufacture new and existing prod-ucts from recycled or recyclable material.
