1. Advanced Manufacturing Serviced Facility

The facility is located within Tonsley, at Australia’s first innovation district incorporating many world leading companies. The collaborative approach of working alongside varying professions is what sets Specialised Solutions ahead of the game. Modular Construction is the way of the future and we now provide the optimum advanced manufacturing facility to achieve this. The site consists of 5500 m2 undercover workshop and is set out to allow for diversity and flexibility of varying projects. While short run production has many advantages these projects are set out in designated areas to ensure that’s achieved. The overall structure of the facility is interchangeable to suit multiple clients and varying projects to achieve the best results for the projects. The skilled work force is made up of varying trades consisting of metal fabrication, carpentry, electricians, mechanical, cladding, glazing or whatever specialists the project requires. We have the support from a range of certified contractors to ensure all elements of the project can be meet. We also offer flexibility to our clients to engage their own preferred contractors to undertake their scope of works on site. The open shop and collaborative approach to construction sets out to achieve the best result for the client and the project.

2. The Process

a. Review and gain an understanding of our clients requirements to ensure projects are delivered to

their expectations.

b. Undertake engineering and architectural designs

c. Review designs to ensure the best construction methodologies are achieved.

d. Assist with budget analysis, job costing’s and ideas for value adding.

e. Undertake modelling using the latest software to produce Building Integrated Modelling (BIM), which is a key role in the success of a project.

f. Project management though-out the process including monitoring of quality control to the highest standard (certified ISO 9001: 2015) and continually working to the safest work practices in OHS (certified OHS 4801)

g. Provide on the job supervision, programing and scheduling of labor and contractors

h. Planning and delivery to site including transport, cranage, access and labour requirements

3. Training and work placement

4. Solar Support Infrastructure With extensive experience in prefabrication we are able to design and manufacture a range of products. We can offer a fully fitted out and commissioned structure ready for delivery to site. Some of the key items we have worked on are: - Modified shipping containers, for inverters and battery storage. - Prefab office and accommodation buildings - Control rooms and switch rooms - Skid mount platforms and bases for a range of generators and battery mounts. - Inverter enclosures and security cages. Some of our key clients also based in the Tonsley precinct are SAGE automation, Telsa, Zen Energy, and Flinders University.

5. Small scale recharging stations We have a range of portable and fixed structures for hire or purchase. These are 1-2 kw system, with USB charging stations, combined with park bench or multi purpose structure. Option extra’s Qi wireless charger, interactive display TV or touch screen, wifi. They are the perfect fit for: - Councils parks and public spaces. - Regional tourism - Events and festivals, assist in charging other facilities such as toilets. - Universities, schools, Tafe campuses etc.. - Rural power requirements such as pumps for bores.

6. Medium Size charging stations

Currently Under Construction at Tonsley

We are currently installing a 30 kw Solar Electric Vehicle charging stations for Flinders University and Mitsubishi Motors. The charging stations are a perfect solution for: - Business with electric vehicles - Residential Carports for private Electric Vehicles - Regional councils looking to attract tourism - Hotel / Motels - Public Parking Spaces

7. Large Scale Solar Structures We were recently been involved with Origin Energy in the install of the Marion Solar carparks. We further developed a structurally engineered, water tight and architecturally appealing design. The structural can be supplied as a kit or installed using our team of riggers. The large scale structures are a perfect solution for - Shopping Centre carparks - University Carp parks - Large scale rural shedding and feed lots. - Hail protection at car lots and car yards. - The design can be adapted for various other water tight applications.

8. Floating Solar Several years ago we under a floating solar project in Jamestown, the key benefits of floating solar are to stop evaporation of water, utilize large areas of space not otherwise useful and the water can be pumped over the panels to increase their productivity.

We are further developing a floating modular pontoon structure that can be floated out on a larger

scale. These are ideal for:

- Large water reservoirs - Council detention pods - Agricultural water storage and Dams

They are a design and construction company delivering Solar and Battery Storage Projects around Australia with a reputation for delivering client-focused solutions. Apex Energy Australia and Apex Communication Technologies are owned and operated by the same owner, located in the head office at Melrose Park, South Australia. Apex Energy Australia was established in 2009 and has quietly grown into a national supplier of large-scale commercial solar and storage solutions in capital cities, light industrial areas and regional locations. Apex Communication Technologies, the initial Stallan-owned enterprise, was established in 2004.
