Joystick Control. The joystick allowsthree simultaneous boom functions andincorporates unique slider switches.

The joystick also operates the auxiliaryhydraulic function and allows the optionof a second auxiliary service for the useof work tools that require more than onehydraulic service.

Hydraulic System. The Cat ElectroHydraulic system allows all three boomfunctions to be operated simultaneouslyand proportionally. This enablesprecise placing of loads in challengingapplications.

Auxiliary hydraulic functions areavailable on the joystick to allowoperators to utilize more complexwork tools.

A continuous flow auxiliary hydraulicsupply is also available for operatingtools such as brooms that requirecontinuous flow for long periods of time.

Integrated System. The Caterpillarexclusive integrated managementsystem allows the engine, transmissionand hydraulic systems to operate withmaximum efficiency, control andproductivity.

Flow Sharing. Three simultaneoushydraulic functions are achieved by:

• A load sensing variable displacementpump delivering flow on demandand ensuring that only the flow raterequired is delivered, thus reducingfuel consumption and reducingheat generation.

• The post spool pressure compensatingon the main implement valve ensuresthree function flow sharing evenwhen valve demand exceeds pumpoutput. Flow sharing is achievedregardless of loading on each circuit,making smooth boom movementseasy even for inexperienced operators.

Ease of OperationEase of operation was paramount in the design of the new TH330B. The single joystick, withits intuitive, modulated, hydraulic functions, and the new Cat electronic machine informationdisplay are designed to maximize operator efficiency.

Fork Configuration

Lift Height. The TH330B can effectivelyand quickly place bricks and materialsto a maximum height of 7.2 m (23.58 ft).

Reach. Job site obstacles presentchallenges demanding a machine toplace loads at greater distances – theTH330B delivers.

Maneuverability. The TH330B offersexcellent maneuverability, due to itstight turning circle and its threedifferent steering modes.

The TH330B has 50 degree axlesteering angle and no rear tail swing,allowing it to work productively andsafely in confined areas.

Steering Modes. The TH330B offersthree steering modes (two wheel, crab andcircle steer) to allow an operator to easilyposition the machine. Steering modesare selected by a single three-positionrocker switch. Steering position sensorsare fitted as standard to all steeringmodes to be changed while moving.

High Torque Rise Engine. The Cat 3054Eelectronic engine is U.S. EPA Tier 2compliant. While continuing to delivermaximum performance it featuresimproved timing, reduced smoke andexceptional service improvements.For improved sound characteristics,a venturi tailpipe has been packagedinside the engine enclosure.

The cooling system has been designed towork in the most challenging conditions.

Transmission. The TH330B has apurpose designed Caterpillar four speedforward, three speed reverse powersyncrotransmission.

Axles. The TH330B is fitted withCaterpillar planetary reduction axles.

For improved machine performance indifficult conditions, a differential lockis available (front axle).

Power TrainCaterpillar engines, axles and transmissions give you the quality power train that you expect.

Quick Coupler. An IT interface isstandard on the TH330B. For optimumversatility machines are equipped witha hydraulic quick coupler, allowing theoperator to quickly and easily changenon-hydraulic work tools withoutleaving the cab.

Hydraulic Services. Machines areequipped with Auxiliary Hydraulicservices, allowing the use of hydraulicallyoperated work tools. All B-SeriesTelehandlers are equipped with a single auxiliary hydraulic service and continuous hydraulic flow.

Work Tools. A wide range of worktools are available to meet most jobsite applications.
