St. Peter's College of Engineering and Technology, a co-educational college was established by Lakshmi Saraswathi Educational Trust in the year 2008. The college aims to impart training to students to develop their intellectual powers, identify and cultivate interest and talents, and train them to become responsible and eminent citizens of India. The College offers nine B.E. / B.Tech. Under Graduate Degree Programmes five M.E. / M.B.A. Post Graduate Degree Programmes and B.Arch.

This annual Newsletter highlights the academic and other activities of the College which is fast developing into one of the best technical institutions in Tamil Nadu. As per the intimation from AICTE 31st October 2014 the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabahi Patel was observed as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' (National Unity Day). To commemorate the event “Essay Writing Competition” was conducted on 31.10.2014 for the I B.E / B.Tech / B.Arch Students. The topic for the competition was “Manpower without Unity is not strength unless it is harmonised and united properly”. A total of 33 students participated in the competition.

National Education Day was celebrated on 11th Nov 2014 to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Moulana Abul Kalam Azad. Dr. Gunasekaran, Dean R&D, St. Peter's University addressed the I year students. The Programme was conducted in association with the NSS Unit of the College.
