Physical Considerations

The Telepacific routers for both locations will be mounted in an equipment cabinet

There is limited feed in both locations and we will have to interrupt service at the main location in order to extend the circuits

The circuit extension and turn-up will happen on the same day (1/27/12)

The remaining slides will detail the physical considerations

The room is small and I could not get far enough back to get the whole thing in one pic

Existing XO equipment

Feed to suite 114

Page 12: South OC Pediatric - Telepacific planning

There is not a full 25-pair feed cable there. The feed is five cat5 cables.

Below is a breakout showing how the feed is currently allocated and my suggestion on how we reuse it

Page 13: South OC Pediatric - Telepacific planning

This is the equipment cabinet at 26371 La Paz.

The current feed and station cabling terminates on blocks loose in the

cabinet

Page 14: South OC Pediatric - Telepacific planning

These blocks will be moved to a backboard and the Telepacific router can be placed in the cabinet

Page 15: South OC Pediatric - Telepacific planning

Feed and phone station cabling will terminate on 66 blocks mounted

to backboard

Telepacific router goes in cabinet

Here there are only three cat5 cables for feed
