Sorbet or sherbet (Raspberry works well.) (Optional) Whipped cream (Optional) Sprig of mint Serrated knife Melon baller Print a picture of a completed treat to show participants. Post a copy on your bulletin board to create interest in the activity. Directions: 1. Wash and dry the outside of the lemon. 2. Cut off a small bit from each end. This will create a flat bottom on each half of the lemon to allow the bowls to sit without rolling over. 3. Cut the lemon in half. Then cut around the inside to loosen the pulp from the rind. 4. Use a melon baller to scoop the rest of the pulp out of the “bowl.” 5. Fill the lemon bowl with sorbet or sherbet. For an added touch, top it with whipped cream and a sprig of mint.

Sorbet Lemon Bowl  

Make a bowl out of half a lemon. Fill it with sorbet for a refreshing dessert. You will need:
