Q 1. If the interviewer is adamant and according to us he is wrong then, how to tackle thesituation?

Ans: First of all I will ask himmodestlywhether I can say something on the issue. After that Iwould say Sorry sir but I differ on your views. Then I will say him that according to me ( andas per the statistics available with me) the correct position is.............Still if he persists on his views then at the most we can say that Ok Sir I might be wrong. I willhave to check once again.

Q2. What will you do if you are not selected?Ans: If I am not selected, it would mean that there was some lacuna in me so far as othercandidates were concerned. It might so happen that today I did not fare well. So, I will try mybest to perform well in my next Interview. I will try to learn from the mistakes I made in thisInterview.

Q3. Whether reference should be given or not?Ans: Sir , I think if the Company feels that there is something fishy about the candidate or if thecompany wants to remove any doubts or queries they may very well contact Mr. X or Mr. Y . Ithink there is nothing wrong in giving references.

Q4. Tell me about Yourself ?Ans. My name is Mr.X . I got qualified as a chartered accountants in May 2008. I havecompleted my articles hip from kanpur & Delhi. I am a hardworking guy who is dedicated to hiswork. for me, honesty is the best policy. I am an adaptive person. I believe in change so that i canmould myself according to the situation and explore myself to the best. I am a creative person. Ihave written few humorous poems which were highly appreciated.

Q5. What Are your strengths ?Ans. My strengths are my optimistic attitude, confidence, self motivation and leadershipquality.

Q6.What are your major weaknesses ?Ans. I think nobody is perfect in the world. My major weakness is that i can not sit idle which issometimes harmful to the competitors of the organization.

Q.7. In the Interview Panel my friend is sitting, How should you greet him?

Ans: I will treat him as if other interview panel member and Wish Good Morning Sir/Madamwith smile.

Q.8.Why have you taken so many transfers during your Articleship/changed jobs?

Ans: Initially I joined in a firm where there are more Tax audits and after that took terminationjoined in a firm where there are more Statutory and Internal audits. (In simple - for the purpose ofExposure).

Q.9. How to handle the situation if the answer to a particular question is not known?

Ans: Just give a smile and tell Honestly I don't know the answer, I am not thorough with thetopic

Q10.Tell me about something you did-or failed to do- that you now feel little ashamed of?

Ans : This is a tricky question interviewer tried to trap you with, so don't accept yourweakness or mistake give always positive answer. One of probable good answer may belike this. Well.. sir,as you know no body is perfect and don't commit mistake in theirlife,so as i am but i.. don't remember any mistake or something that i failed to do, onwhich i feel ashamed,neither in professional career nor in personal life. I have done some

little mistake but those are insignificant.e.g.i was not so serious about study in 10th.

Q11. Why are you leaving (or did you leave) this position ?

Ans : with this question try to know your feeling about previous employer and yourresponsibility .Don't answer badmouth about previous employer as well as yourresponsibility that it was not at par with your ability. This may be one of probableanswer. Sir, Since from my c.a inter i wanted to join a big manufacturing company wherei can use my analytical skill,vision and knowledge for the growth of the company andalso i can learn, same i can't do in a C.A.Firm because in ca firm i was being assignedvariety of work and could not focus on one aspect. so ,that i left that position.

Q 12. The "Silent Treatment"

Ans : Through this silent treatment interviewer try to check your mental presence andyour tolerance ability so, dont get frustrated and break silence. Probably one of thetreatment may be like this. you also keep silent for a while and then with humble ask tointerviewer "Is any thing else you want to know sir".
