Inventory Management
The inventory software application provides functionality to manage storage
tanks in the most efcient, effective and protable way. Extensive alarm and
events management capabilities track and trace all situations. Dedicated
graphics enable an easy overview of inventory operations, service, supervision
and management. Historical trends and reports can be obtained for detailed
analysis of operations over time.
Stratication Monitoring
Dedicated functions are available for graphical display of stratication built up
of stored LNG over time by monitoring temperature and density.
Proles can be compared and alarms can be set to avoid critical situations.
Detailed scans for specic layers can be issued using specic gauge commands.
Field Equipment Interfacing
Honeywell Enrafs terminal automation solution comes with a number of
modules for networking, communication, scanning and interfacing.
A range of industry standard and dedicated protocols are supported to enable
the easy integration of a wide range of eld instruments and subsystems.
Host Systems Integration
Ethernet and Internet technology embedded in our data acquisition units
provide advanced integration with automation and business domain systems,
reducing cost and risk. Web server technologies enable us to present data in
any format at any place, even beyond terminal borders.
Volume and Composition Management
To limit the uncertainty involved with product storage and movement, modules
are made available that accurately calculate corrected volume following ISO and
API standards and other methods such as COSTALD.
For this purpose, dedicated software modules allow the user to enter LNG
composition data in the system for an accurate estimate of the nal composition
of LNG after receipt of cargo and mixing of heel and load.
Behavior Modeling
Due to the characteristics of LNG, stratication can be induced due to a receipt
or as auto stratication over time. This behavior causes a risk for the rollover
phenomenon with rapid mixing and huge boil off.
For the purpose of monitoring this layer and to identify unstable situations,
software modules are made available using advanced algorithms that provide
an estimate of the LNG behavior over time.
Rollover Prediction Modeling
This model allows the user to visualise the evolution of temperature, density,
boil-off and the thickness of the stratied layers within an LNG tank. The model
can run with manual or live data and is a fully integrated feature of the total LNG
solution.
