CLIPSO coverings are made of a polyester knit coated with polyurethane. Thanks to a high-tech profile system, CLIPSO can create walls and ceilings with intricate designs and complex shapes.

Acoustic Color Fabric (495 AC)

• 0.375 / 1.75 inches thick• Non-fibrous and lightweight• LA 53 used in a double layer = 1” of fiber glass • LA 54 used in a single layer = 2” of fiber glass

Acoustic Batting LA 53 / LA 54 CLIPSO acoustical batting is a synthetic, polyester material that is both non-fibrous and lightweight. It provides a high noise absorption rate, a high resistance to moisture, and is easy to install as it contains no fiberglass. When used with CLIPSO Acoustic coverings, you get a much higher rate of sound absorption because any of the sound transmitted through the fabric is now met with the acoustical batting that is behind the fabric.

ACOUSTIC ABSORPTION

CLIPSO® provides a full line of coverings to provide optimal acoustic performance. CLIPSO acoustic coverings 495 D, 705 A, 495 AC and 495 AT, in conjunction with CLIPSO acoustical batting LA 53 and LA 54, are ideal for acoustic absorption and can be installed on ceilings, walls, suspended clouds or free-standing structures.
