Preventative Maintenance SupportHow it worksWith our Preventative Maintenance cover, we check your hardware and software systems to pre-empt issues that might occur to your IT system rather than you waiting for problems to happen.

Firstly, we conduct a free audit of your IT infrastructure. This entails a site visit when we survey your hardware and software systems and report on the current state of affairs with recommendations for any immediate issues that need to be addressed. Following this visit, we will provide you with a tailored proposal and price.

Depending on your organization size and needs, your Preventative Maintenance plan might require as little as a half-day per month to a half-day per week.

Minor issues and change requests are logged at your site until the date of the scheduled visit. These issues are then resolved with our usual site maintenance checks and upgrades.

More urgent issues are, of course, dealt with as they arise, either by telephone support with remote login or a site visit out of schedule.

Break Fix Maintenance, Support ContractHow it worksFor a monthly fee we will provide you with unlimited, telephone, login and on-site support.

Through remote administration, we can log onto your network – either to the central server or to individual computers or laptops – diagnose and resolve the issues and most importantly, provide an instant response to your problem.

On an ongoing basis we monitor all renewals for both hardware and software warranties, and notify you when they are due. You can enhance this service by selecting to go with our preventative maintenance support or managed services support options.

Established in 1988, Combiflow Ltd is Ireland’s leading supplier of process pumping and conveying products, supplying a range of liquids handling equipment from pumps to mixers and vacuum equipment. The company has offices in Dublin, Cork and Belfast.

Combiflow originally invested in CRM to integrate all of its data into one centralised system. The CRM solution needed to be affordable as well as user-friendly for both in-house and remote workers. It was also essential that the system allowed easy access and seamless integration of sales and marketing data gathered across its three offices and from its remote workers, allowing sales representatives more time in the field and less in the office.

The Primary Care Re-imbursement Service administers payments to doctors, pharmacists and dentists who provide services under the Primary Care

Re-imbursement Scheme (PCRS).

The PCRS scheme includes medical card services provided by doctors and pharmacists, prescribed drugs and medicines services provided by community pharmacists and dental services provided to medical card holders. The level of payments and other conditions of service are negotiated by the Department of Health and Children and the relevant professional bodies.

Advanced Business Manager (ABM) was selected to facilitate these re-imbursements. The system had to be flexible, robust, handle large volumes of transactions and offer traceability in case of query. We also required a system that would work seamlessly with Microsoft Excel and Word. We can post all our supplier invoices to our log file and once they are passed for payment they are entered into the system for payment. By using the scanning module, we can attach any relevant documentation like delivery dockets to each transaction.

This simple but clever use of ABM and its modules has reduced our workload enormously. We are now looking at our other processes to see where we can develop ABM to further streamline our operations.

Advanced Business Manager (ABM) Payroll is unique in that it can identify costs by employee, job, cost-centre and stage and integrate these costs directly into the Job Costing Ledger in ABM’s fi nancial accounting system. It also updates the selected nominal accounts (PRSI etc.) in the General Ledger, giving you total control over your actual employee costs. Within any one week employees can move between jobs, and correct costs can be allocated to overhead accounts.

Designed to suit a wide range of industries, ABM Payroll can also provide added essential functionality to businesses who use job costing, including Construction, Manufacturing, Engineering, Professional Consulting and Services.

TimesheetThe timesheet option is used to assign unlimited amount and types of payments and deductions to each employee. Most pay runs may only need a quick amendment of the timesheet from the previous pay run, providing faster processing. Payments can be made before tax or after tax (e.g. Mileage Expenses) and can be processed by fixed, hourly or rateable methods. Deductions can be made before or after tax either in fixed or percentage formats.

Payroll ProcessingThis is used to carry out the necessary calculations on the gross pay for Pensions, PRSI, Tax and other payments and deductions, in order to produce a net amount. Information can be viewed on screen and/or printed before an update is made. Payroll processing is very flexible and can be handled weekly, bi-weekly as well as monthly and quarterly, with all the necessary tax, PRSI and other details automatically worked out.

PayslipsAs the payroll is processed, details are normally printed out on a payslip to be given to the employee and manually filed. Payment details can be printed onto pre-printed payslips or plain paper. You can choose from a range of payslip options.

E-mail Payslips PaymentsThe payments option is used to take the net pay figure generated for the period and translate this into a payment. Payments can be made by Cash, Cheque or Electronic Funds Transfer.

ReportsReports may be generated for recording purposes. ABM Payroll provides an extensive number of reports which can be used for analysing the payroll. A selection of summary and detail reports are available, analysing Gross to Net Pay, Payment and Deductions, Employers Costs, Job costing, Time Analysis and Attendance Analysis. Most of these reports can be sent to MS Excel for further analysis.

Job CostingJob Costing is used to set up individual activities which may be made up of multiple stages. Employees can be set up as “Job Employees”; their time can then be allocated to the different Stages in Job according to a Cost Centre. This allows for profitability analysis on particular jobs and extensive resource monitoring.

System SetupUse the System Setup button to record default settings for ABM Payroll’s operation. Using this option you can set up Users, Departments, Cost Centres, Payments and Deductions. ABM Payroll places no limitations on the number of these entities. Employer information can also be entered here.
