Software for tube bender communication and correction Benderlink for FARO enables communications between FARO CAM2 software and CNC benders. Software Features Key features in Benderlink for FARO IMPORT CAM2 Data Files Benderlink imports XYZ data files created by CAM2 software using the CAM2 XYZ format. CAM2 XYZ data can contain multiple tube constructions. Benderlink allows you to indicate which tube shape in the data is to be used as MASTER data and which is used for the MEASURED data. SEND NEW TUBE Data With Benderlink, you don’t have to type the bend data into the bender control manually. Draw the part in CAM2 as a master part, then send the data from FARO CAM2 directly to the bender as initial setup data. SEND TRUE CORRECTIONS Data Measure the tube to make a new tube centerline in CAM2, then indicate to Benderlink that this centerline is MEASURED data. Then tell Benderlink to correct the bender. The current data from the bender is recalled, corrections are made to the data, then the data is returned to the bender – all in few seconds.

• IMPORT CAM2 Data Files Benderlink imports XYZ data files created by CAM2 software using the CAM2 XYZ format. CAM2 XYZ

• MANUALLY ADJUST CORRECTION Data With this system, you can even manually adjust the corrections data before it is sent to the bender.

• NETWORK CHECK Integrity Quickly check the integrity of the network connection with the built-in “Check Network Connection” feature.

• DOUBLE-CORRECTION Prevention Benderlink warns you if the same correction is sent twice – preventing an overcorrection.
