    Notes: Amherst first year 3B Reilly Horan (Darien, Conn.) batted .385 (5-for-13) and scored four runduring a 2-2 week for the Jeffs. Against Western New England earlier in the week, Horan went 3-for-4 wian RBI and three runs scored while handling six chances flawlessly in the field. Senior RHP Alex ChanGraham (San Carlos, Calif.) fired three complete games and appeared in all four of the Jeffs outings in a 2week. She recorded an 1.54 ERA over 22.2 IP, allowing 21 hits and five earned runs while striking out siIn Saturdays second game against Middlebury, Chang-Graham tossed a six-hit shutout without allowingwalk...Bates soph. catcher Leah Maciejewski (Tewksbury, Mass.) batted .455 (5-for-11) with three doubles an 0-3 week for the Bobcats...Bowdoins Julia Jacobs (Ridgewood, N.J.) earned the win in Fridays victoover Tufts, tossing 6.0 innings and scattering seven hits while striking out five...Colbys Alyssa Lepore drovin the lone run in a 1-0 win over Husson during a 1-1 week for the Mules. She finished the doublehead3-for-8 with a run and four RBI. First year pitcher Lauren Becker claimed her first collegiate shutout by striing out 10 and walking one in a 1-0 win at Husson...Hamiltonjunior 1B Liz Reid (Amherst, N.Y.) hit her fircollegiate home run and drove in a team-high six runs during a 2-3 week for the Continentals. In a 5-0 wat Morrisville St. on Thursday, Reid doubled, tripled, and plated three runs. She averaged .286 (4-for-14) f

    the week...Middleburyjunior RHP Geena Constantin (Pelham, N.H.) averaged .529 at the plate (9-for-1with two doubles, two runs scored and two driven in. She also went 2-1 in the circle with 20 strikeouts in 2IP, holding opponents to a .145 average. Constantin earned a shutout victory on Friday in the Panthers 4win at Amherst...Trinity soph. catcher Kristina Yu (Andover, Mass.) caught all 21 innings of a three-gamsweep of Bates and provided the game-winning hit in both victories on Saturday afternoon. She batted .37(3-for-8) with four RBI and two runs scored during the series...Tuftsjunior catcher Julia Silberman (SomerN.Y.) had just two hits during the weekend series with Bowdoin, but both were clutch. On Friday, her two-rusingle in the bottom of the sixth gave the Jumbos a 4-3 advantage heading into the seventh. On Saturday game two, she knocked a two-run shot in a 3-2 win over the Polar Bears. First year pitcher Rebecca DiBias(Wellesley, Mass.) allowed just four hits and one run in a win in the first game of Saturdays doubleheadeas only one Bowdoin baserunner advanced past second against her. She struck out four and held the PolBears to a .185 average...Wesleyan junior 1B Talia Bernstein (Miami, Fla.) belted a double in each gamof the weekend series against Hamilton, giving her the Cardinals career lead in the process with 25 totaBernstein, who is currently enjoying a nine-game hitting streak, has nine doubles so far this season, one shof her program record. She finished the week batting .583 (7-for-12) with an .833 slugging mark with threruns scored and five driven in.

    Dana Levy, Wesleyan(Sophomore, RHP/SS - Westport, Conn.)Levy batted .555 (5-for-9) with a .889 sluggingpercentage and a .600 on-base mark in a 3-0weekend for the Cardinals against Hamilton.She also had a home run, a walk, four runsscored and six driven in. During her lone appear-ance in the circle, Levy allowed two earned runsand a walk while striking out eight batters. Shecommitted only one error on 17 chances. Levyis in the midst of a six-game hitting streak.

    Softball Player of the Week

    Kristen Anderson, Trinity(Junior, RHP - West Haven, Conn.)Anderson tossed two complete games to g2-0 during a 3-0 sweep of Bates over thweekend. After scattering 12 hits in a 5-1 won Friday, Anderson hurled a two-hit shutouin a 4-0 victory on Saturday. Over 14.0 IPAnderson had a 0.50 ERA while not allowing a walk and holding opposing batters to .259 average.
