The unique fitting takes the HVID (Horizontal Visual Iris Diameter)and sagittal height into account, thus ensuring maximum comfort.

Lens Design:The unique base curve has a spherical optic zone with an aspheric periphery. The front curve has a reinforced optic zone which vastly improves vision, a special lenticularzone for structural stability and a very comfortable edge to the lens. A special system incorporatespressure balancing fenestration holes to equalize the pressure between the front and back of the lens, which improves the following:

Lens diameter selection ₧ HVID 10.8 to 12.1 choose 14.20mm ₧ HVID 12.2 to 13.0 choose 14.80mm ₧ Or, use the unique Vertical Measurement Gauge5. First choice Base Curve selection, one of two fitting techniques: a. Sagittal Height Formula ₧ Lens diameter 14.20mm ₧ Sagittal Height at 14.2 corneal diameter + 500 μm ₧ Lens diameter 14.80mm ₧ Sagittal Height at 14.8 corneal diameter +1000 μm b. Keratometric Formula ₧ Kavg +1.0mm (go flatter) 6. First choice trial lens fitting: ₧ Movement between 0.7mm to 1.0 mm ₧ Lens must be centered ₧ Check patient’s comfort ₧ No air bubbles ₧ No edge lift ₧ Acceptable vision with over refraction7. Perform spherical and cylinder over refraction8. Once all of these steps are reviewed and monitored, the lens can be ordered for the patient.
