social media for change makers
DESCRIPTION
Are you an activist or advocate for social good? This presentation shows great examples of what business leaders and individuals have done, and can do using social media to help spread the word. This presentation answers the following questions: How do advocacy groups use Facebook? How do advocacy groups use Twitter? What power does social media have for advocacy? What creates social media success? What can business leaders do help the cause online? What can Rotarians do to help end polio messaging reach the target audience? This was designed and presented live by me for Rotary in a volunteer capacity. Storytelling and slide animation are not included here. Enjoy, Corinne Cavanaugh The examples referenced are: http://www.npr.org/2011/09/12/140402430/japanese-seniors-send-us-to-damaged-nuclear-plant http://www.hrc.org http://neverseconds.blogspot.com http://www.whitehouse.gov/my2k http://banbossy.com http://youtu.be/6dynbzMlCcw http://www.gettyimages.com/Creative/Frontdoor/leaninTRANSCRIPT
