• They knew their audience

• Integrated within online (FB, YouTube, Twitter, website, email)

• Integrated online to “offline”: used online to communicate something happening on the ground; then got more media coverage and attention online, which led to more “real-world” results

• It’s really about building and demonstrating power online and off
