Part 1.1: Pre match responsibilities

Scout needs to fully charge his/her Android device and additional cell phone. He needs to be reachable

at least from 2 hours before the kick-off time and 1 hour after the match end. The method of being

online is not so important, so it can be on Skype or by phone.

IMPORTANT NOTE 1: battery charge and availability are very important and problems with this will lead

to 100% fee cut.

Part 1.2: At the venue Scout must be at the venue at least 30 minutes before the kick-off time. At that time he logs in to the

“Megafeed” application with his Login and Password (picture 1).

Picture 1: Log in

IMPORTANT NOTE 2: be attentive to choose REAL type if you are going to cover a real match, or TEST –

to take a training.

4

After logging in Scout will face the list of available matches. He must select and open the match that is

going to cover (picture 2).

Picture 2: Match list

After selecting the match Scout will need to confirm that he is on the venue by clicking In position

button, or if there are some unexpected reasons to be late Scout must send Will be late message, and

after receiving a call from Supporter must tell why is he going to be late and tell approximate time to be

in stadium (picture 3).

Picture 3: Entering into the match

5

After that Scout needs to put jersey colors of teams and weather/pitch condition, which must be chosen

from drop down menu (picture 4).

Picture 4: Jersey colors and match conditions

After all this Scout can see the screen with the main buttons with red background, which means that the

market is closed and the system is in Bet Stop mode (picture 5).

Picture 5: Bet Stop mode

15 minutes before the match Scout presses Bet Start button on the screen, it goes green, which means

market is open and the system is in Bet Start mode (picture 6).

6

Picture 6: Bet Start mode

IMPORTANT NOTE 3: not opening market in time will lead to fee cuts.

Part 2: Menu buttons Pressing Menu button on the Android device will open application’s menu, where Scout can choose

several events (picture 7).

Picture 7: Menu

Part 2.1: Match start Match start is one of the most important events and no delay should be done. Pressing Match start

button from the Menu will open a pop-up to confirm the kick-off (picture 8).

Picture 8: Match start

7

To be sure that match start will be sent in time, before the match start when the referee is checking

everything to be ok to start the match, Scout needs to push Match start and then wait for the referee to

blow the whistle and confirm the start of the game by pressing Send exactly at that moment.

IMPORTANT NOTE 4: delaying match start will lead to 100% fee cut, so Scout must be very accurate and

start the match using the method mentioned above. Server receives “Match start” event only when one

pushes “Send”.

IMPORTANT NOTE 5: the same procedure must be done to start Second half, 1st and 2nd overtimes.

Part 2.2.1: End half (active only during the match) As soon as referee blows the whistle signaling the end of the half Scout needs to send End half from the

application menu. This event also should not have any delay.

Part 2.2.2: End match As in the case of End half, here also Scout needs to send End match right after the whistle of referee.

Application will open a pop-up to confirm Match end with 3 options: Overtime, Penalties, End match

(picture 9).

Picture 9: End match

IMPORTANT NOTE 6: make sure that you will send the right command, because there will not be any

possibility to change it. Sending Overtime instead of End match or vice versa will lead up to 100% fee cut.

Part 2.3: Free text Free text messages are an important part of coverage procedure and must be sent if needed. By

pressing on Free text button Scout will face a text box to put a custom text or template message to

Supporter (picture 10).

IMPORTANT NOTE 7: “Players are coming out”, “Game about to start” and “Kick-off HOME!”/”Kick-off

AWAY!” messages are the most important and must be sent before every half start. Missing these

messages will lead to fee cuts.

Part 2.4: Swap teams This is an option which swaps team names position on the main screen of application. This will be done

automatically after second half start.

Part 2.5: Color change Here Scout can edit Jersey colors and weather/pitch conditions.

Part 2.6: Stop match (active only during the match) Scout needs to stop match if it is suspended because of bad weather or another reason, and it will be

continued after a while.

Part 2.7: Substitution As soon as there is a substitution in the teams during the match, Scout needs to push Substitution

button from Menu. Application will open a pop-up to set the team and player’s jersey numbers that are

being changed (picture 11).

10

Picture 11: Substitution

IMPORTANT NOTE 8: Scout can skip setting numbers for substituting players if there are many

substitutions at the same time or it is hard to see correct numbers, but he needs to do his best to give as

much information as possible.

Part 2.8: Stoppage time Scout needs to send stoppage time at the last minutes of every half. As soon as 4th referee will show

additional time to the half, Scout needs to push Stoppage time button from the application Menu and

enter added minutes in the opened pop-up (picture 12).

Picture 12: Stoppage time

Stoppage time must be sent during last minute of each half. If there is no clear indication of Stoppage

time Scout must send 0 minutes.

Part 2.9: 40 minute match (active until match start) There are some games (for example U17 matches), that every half lasts for 40 minutes instead of 45. In

that cases Scout needs to inform Company about that by sending 40 minutes match event from the

Menu.

11

Part 2.10: Test Connection This option will help Scout to check his/her connection with the server.

Part 3: On screen buttons On the main screen of application there are the buttons that are being used during the match. That

buttons are active only during the match (except Bet Start/Bet Stop buttons that are active all the time

until the end of the match).

Application uses two touch system to send an event from the main screen: event type and team name

for which must be sent the event.

Scout can see statistics of each event on the sides of event name.

Part 3.1: Match status The situation on the pitch is being described by 3 match status for each team: ball safe, attack and

dangerous attack.

Part 3.1.1: Ball safe Ball safe event for the team needs to be sent when the team possesses the ball in its own half of the

field and there isn’t any danger to concede a goal. It must be sent also in case if the team takes goal kick,

free kick or throw-in in the same part of the field. Ball safe zone is the part of the field between goal line

and center line of the field (picture 13).

Picture 13: Ball safe zone

12

IMPORTANT NOTE 9: ball safe doesn’t mean just possessing the ball. Be sure that there is no any danger

to lose the ball and only then send ball safe.

Part 3.1.2: Attack Send Attack as soon as the team possesses the ball on the opponents’ part of the field in the zone

before getting near opponents’ penalty area (picture 14).

Picture 14: Attack zone

IMPORTANT NOTE 10: attack for a team can’t be preceded right after attack/dangerous attack for other

team. That means that between two attacks must be at least one ball safe.

Part 3.1.3: Dangerous attack As soon as one of the teams possesses the ball near opponents’ penalty area and has an opportunity to

score a goal Scout needs to send Dangerous attack event for that team. Even if the team loses the ball

but has a high pressing on opponents’ defensive line then Scout needs to stay on dangerous attack.

Dangerous attack zone is shown in picture 15.

13

Picture 15: Dangerous attack zone

IMPORTANT NOTE 11: dangerous attack for a team can’t be preceded right after dangerous

attack/attack for other team. That means that between two dangerous attacks must be at least one ball

safe.

IMPORTANT NOTE 12: not following the rules mentioned in IMPORTANT NOTE 10 and IMPORTANT

NOTE 11 will lead to fee cuts.

Part 3.2: Goal Goal is one of the most important events during coverage of the match and no delay can be made while

sending Goal.

As soon as Scout will send Goal event application will automatically go to Bet Stop mode and open a

pop-up to confirm/undo the goal (picture 16).

Picture 16: Goal

Do not hurry to confirm the goal because there will not be way back after confirmation of the goal by

pressing Scored. Make sure that referee will show to the center of the field and the goal will be counted

and continue by pressing Scored button. As soon as match is restarted press Bet Start and continue with

coverage.

14

If the goal is disallowed by referee because of offside or some other reason, push Undo button, open the

market by pressing Bet Start and enter the right command.

IMPORTANT NOTE 14: make sure that you will not open the market with the wrong score in the system.

Contact Supporter in Bet Stop mode if you can’t solve the issue yourself. Even one second of Bet Start

mode with the wrong score will lead to 100% fee cut.

IMPORTANT NOTE 15: while sending a goal be sure that match status is dangerous attack. Missing

dangerous attack before the goal will lead to fee cuts.

Part 3.3: Red card Sending red card is as important as the goal, so any delay will lead to 100% fee cut. To send a red card

push on the R.Card button on the screen and then push on the team name player who has received it.

This will open a pop-up to enter information about red card and confirm it (picture 17).

Picture 17: Red card

There will be two options to choose until confirming the red card. Push 2xY.Card if the player receives

red card by the second yellow card or R.Card if it’s a direct red card and confirm it by pressing Send. If

you sent red card by mistake or it was dismissed by referee just press Cancel. Red card also generates an

automatic Bet Stop, so you need to open the market by pressing Bet Start.

IMPORTANT NOTE 16: as in case of goal, any second of open market with wrong score of red cards will

lead to 100% fee cut.

Part 3.4: Penalty 3rd most important event is penalty, which must be sent immediately after referee awards it. To send

this event scouts need to push on Penlaty button on the screen then on the team name which will take

the penalty. Application will generate an automatic Bet Stop and will open a pop-up to enter further

information (picture 18).

15

Picture 18: Penalty

Push on Scored button if the penalty was scored, on Missed – if it was missed. If the penalty was

disallowed Scout needs to push Undo button.

If the foul that caused penalty was followed by a red card for the player that made the tackle, Scout

needs to send it before sending information about penalty. Push on R.Card 1 if there is a red card for

home team, and R.Card 2 if there was a red card for away team.

IMPORTANT NOTE 17: while sending a penalty be sure that match status is dangerous attack. Missing

dangerous attack before the penalty will lead to fee cuts.

Part 3.5: Yellow card To send a yellow card push on the Y. Card button on the main screen and then on the team name player

of which receives it.

IMPORTANT NOTE 18: if you missed a yellow card during the match Scout needs to inform about that

Supporter, then enter it by the method mentioned above.

Part 3.6: Corner To enter a corner kick press Corner button and then push on the team name that will take the corner.

After that application will open a pop-up to mention corner side (picture 19).

16

Picture 19: Corner

IMPORTANT NOTE 19: while sending a corner kick be sure that match status is dangerous attack.

Missing dangerous attack before the corner will lead to fee cuts.

Part 3.7: Goal kick To send a goal kick for a team push on the Goal kick button on the screen then on the team name that

will take the goal kick.

IMPORTANT NOTE 20: while sending a goal kick be sure that match status is ball safe. Missing ball safe

before the goal kick will lead to fee cuts.

Part 3.8: Event list Scout can check the event list by dragging the main screen of application from the left edge to the right.

After that Scout can see the list of events sent by him in ascending sequence (picture 13).

Picture 13: Event list

Every event has 3 types of status: Sent – green check, Pending – red cross, System problems – yellow

exclamation mark.

Sent status means that the event is received by the system.

17

Pending status means that the event is not received by the system because of connection problems of

Scout’s device, so he must fix it as soon as possible.

System problems status means that the event is not received by the system because of technical issues.

Part 4: Standard situations By pushing on one of the team names application will open a pop-up where scout will face a pitch with

the ball on the left side and some events on the right side (picture 20).

Picture 20: Standard situations

Part 4.1: Free kick To send a free kick Scout needs to set the average position from where the free kick will be taken and

push on Free kick button.

Part 4.2: Offside If a player is caught offside Scout needs to set the position from where the free kick will be taken and

push on FK Offside button.

IMPORTANT NOTE 21: pay attention that FK Offside event must not be sent to the team player who was

caught offside, but for the team that will restart the game with a free kick.

IMPORTANT NOTE 22: before FK Offside be sure that you have sent ball safe for the team that will

restart the game.

18

Part 4.3: Throw in To send a throw-in Scout needs to set the average position from where the throw in will be made and

then push on Throw in button.

Part 4.4: Shot on/off target To send a shot on/off target just push on Shot on/Shot off buttons respectively.

IMPORTANT NOTE 23: make sure that match status is dangerous attack while sending shots.

IMPORTANT NOTE 24: shot on woodwork must be sent as shot on target.

Part 5: Communication with Supporters Scout needs to be in touch with Supporter during the whole period of coverage. There are two ways to

chat with Supporter.

By second phone Scout can receive calls from Supporter and needs to answer to every call as soon as

possible.

If there is just something to check probably Supporter will not call, but will write a text message with the

following possible answers: Yes, No, Ok and Contact me.

IMPORTANT NOTE 25: not answering supporters’ calls will lead to fee cuts.
