Getting Ready to Work

Working the Cash Register

• Each key on the cash register goes with what is on the menu

• For example: if someone orders a shrimp basket you would hit the button that says shrimp basket.

• If someone orders something with more than one quantity you would push the amount wanted and then the @ button than the item.

• Everything is laid out this way so it is easy to work the cash register

• When you have an order with a blizzard before you take the cash make the blizzard.

Look Closely at the buttons

Working Drive Thru

• Drive thru works the same as Counter as far as cash register goes

• There are two people working drive thru because it gets busy

• One takes the orders while the “back up” does the blizzards making and order packing.

Other Important Facts

• Your task at work is important enough but maintaining clean and efficient area’s is just as important

• counters and floors must be clean at all times.• You get two breaks a 10min and a 30min break in which

those are your times to bathroom break and take care of anything else.

• Punching out is the same way as punching in • ***If you cannot punch into the system you are not in the

system, talk to manager ASAP. Also when breaking put in the last four digits of SS then press BREAK. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if needed.
