basic Smart Board can be purchased by schools for as little as $ 1,399 with a grant.

• One of the models, the 3000i rear projection, was introduced in 2005 at the price of $14,999 and with a grant it would cost $11,999.

• The prices of Smart Boards range from $1,000 and $20,000.
