We have successful ly completed numerous small hydroelectr ic projects since our inception, ranging from 300kW to 50MW in size.

Pr ime Engineering’s staff has extensive experience deal ing with regulatory approval agencies and ut i l i t ies for project interconnections. Our team can work with you to determine the best faci l i ty interconnection options.

Our control system engineers have a wide range of programming experience related to hydroelectr ic generation. We have designed and implemented control systems for a number of impulse and reaction type turbines. Our control system designs can include custom engineered functional ity such as ramping controls , hot re-sync and isochronous and droop speed control govenor systems.

We have provided systems for gr id connected and isolated or is landed faci l i t ies where we have ut i l ized energy storage and load bank systems along with other local generation sources for frequency control .
