Hello Small Farm Enthusiast!

This intensive conference gives participants opportunities to choose from different semi-nars taught by Extension professionals and industry leaders on a wide variety of agricul-tural enterprises. A tradeshow representing the many industries servicing small farms will be present during Saturday hours.

This year’s conference includes two Friday afternoon workshops. These hands-on “In the Field” workshops will focus on poultry production and beekeeping.

Saturday’s agenda will provide opportunities for participants to attend various informative sessions. Saturday’s program will begin at 7:45 am with registration, the trade show, and morning refreshments.

Students are encouraged to attend! Note a discounted price on the registration form.

From the South: Take I-71 N to State Rt. 73. Turn right onto SR 73 and follow 73 East through Wilmington to College Street. Turn right on College Street.

From the North: Take I-71 S. to State Rt. 68. T urn left and follow 68 South into Wilmington. Turn left onto Main Street and follow through Wilmington to College Street. Turn right on College Street.

From the East: Take State Rt 22-3 west through Wilmington. Turn left on College Street.

From the West: Take State Rt 73 through Wilmington. Turn right onto College Street.

This class will include other invited speakers who will discuss such topics as: raising meat and laying birds, processing meat birds, biosecurity, brooding, laws, and “Fact or Chicken Poop: Weeding out the Good, Bad and Ugly from the Internet.”
