SM800SmartMeter™ Intelligent Water Meters
SmartMeter™ water meters address the global need for economic smart metering technology. With no-moving-parts, the solid state electronic water meters provide accurate measurement of water flow throughout the entire product lifetime and are not affected by the wear and subsequent accuracy problems that are caused by sand and grit.
A unique air detection system prevents measurement of air flow which can occur at high points in the water network and at the start of water delivery. Advanced sensing technology and in-built intelligence deliver long term accuracy and reliability through continuous monitoring and reporting on the water flow.
Extended operational life, along with a replaceable battery option ensures that the SmartMeter guarantees excellent whole life cost savings against the lost revenue over time associated with the normal wear and tear of conventional mechanical water meters.
SmartMeters are available as both a visual read meter and in a fully AMR enabled format using inductive pads, radio communication devices or most other forms of automatic meter reading technology (AMR device) connected to the communication port in either an encoded or pulse meter application.
